Reasons of Murders The Delhi Police Spokesman ACP Rajan Bhagat said that crime rate has increased in the capital in 2007 as compared to 2006.
He told that reasons of most of the murders are usually sudden provocation, family disputes, passion and some times other crimes.

Soft Targets Senior Citizens and children are the vulnerable targets. Recently happened incidents, murder of an aged couple in Delhi, Aarushi murder case, are some of the examples that are hitting the headlined of the newspapers all over India. These cases are merely the repetition of the earlier ones that are lying buried under the weight of thousands of such crimes’ related files.

.

Tackling the Menace The number of crimes is much high, as in the remote areas such cases of robbery, attempts of molestation if happen, remain unnoticed or are solved by the local social bodies like Panchayats at village level. The whole world is changing and the change is also happening in the world of crime and the nature of the crimes. Criminals every time find new methods and new targets to commit the crime but the reasons behind the crime are the same as were in the old times. To tackle the menace the governments will have to reform the prevalent Police System and will have to make the public more aware to how to avoid such incidents of crime.
