Encounter A militant named Atiq, who was wanted in connection with serial blasts in Ahmadabad and Delhi, along with one of his associates was killed in police encounter in Jamia Nagar area of south Delhi on Friday morning. Two Delhi Police personal also got injured in the fierce encounter that lasted more than an hour. According to the police sources one militant has been apprehended by the police while two of their associated have managed to escape unhurt. It must be noted that more than 120 people have died in serial bomb blasts in three Indian cities and Indian Mujahideen named terrorist group had taken the responsibility of carrying out the crime. According to the Indian intelligence, IM is the changed name of banned Students Islamic Movement of India. Intelligence Joint Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Karnail Singh told reporters that acting on an intelligence inputs police raided the house where five suspected militants including Atiq were staying. A police inspector and a constable got injured during the exchange of fire. Another prime suspect in Ahmadabad serial blasts Abu Bashar was brought to Delhi on Thursday to interrogate about the September 13 serial blasts in Delhi. During interrogation he had revealed that he knew about the planning of the Delhi serial blasts but did not knew the exact time. Abu had identified the four storied building near a mosque in Jamia Nagar in which he had stayed with some other suspected militants in the month of July. Delhi police have launched combing operations to nab the militants who had fled during the encounter. Government This encounter has brought the truth to surface that SIMI activists are directly linked with the serial bomb blasts triggered in various Indian cities. Some politician demanding the lifting of the ban on SIMI which shows that they had held their political interests more important than the national interests. Home ministry as well as intelligence and police were under constant pressure for their failure to deal with the militants effectively. Constant criticism had downed their moral very low. This encounter has boosted their moral and has also decreased problems of Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil and at the other hand strong massages have been sent to the militants.

krishna Warning Karnatka Government has ordered a judicial probe in the communal violence against Christians and the attacks on Churches. After Orissa, communal violence had erupted in Karnatka and some other Indian states. A 150 year old church was set on fire in Jabalpur town of Madhya Pradesh. It was third anti-Christian incident in the state. Spreading communal violence had alerted the Center government. And this time Manmohan Singh led government has taken a timely action and has issued warnings to the state governments of Orissa and Karnatka Under Article 355 to control the communal violence. Riots Both these state are being ruled by BJP supported governments. BJP has very close relations with Sangh Parivar like the VHP and Bajrang Dal . According to some reports activists of these radical Hindu groups are carrying out attacks on Christians with the undercover support of BJP supported state governments. Communal violence had erupted in Orissa after the murder of a Hindu leader and had spread to the other states. In Orissa many people had been brutally murdered. According to the unconfirmed reports hundreds of people have been killed in Orissa. Constitution There are three controversial emergency provisions in the Indian constitution according to which center government can impose a national emergency and under Article 356 can dismiss a state government. According to a Supreme Court judgment Article 356 can be used only after invoking of Article 355. Center’s warning have sent strong message to the state governments and is being praised in many quarters. There are rumors that center government is preparing the ground to invoke article 356. It it happens then it will add more to the rivalry between UPA and NDA. It must be noted that during nineties Congress led government had dismissed five BJP state governments. Elections Though some people have appreciated the move but according to some people UPA alliance is under great pressure from the opposition for its soft approach to handle militancy and it wants to put the pressure back on the NDA by criticizing it for communal riots. It has been reported that he was seen donning a turban while shooting for his untitled home production that is being directed by Jab We Met fame Imtiaz Ali. He and his production unit had shot for five days in Sardar Shankar Road in Lake Market in Kolkata. Salman It is the historical fact that a very few films have been made in which a Sikh character is a hero. After the success of Singh Is King Bollywood have found a new success mantra and more and more actors are joining the bandwagon to encash at the earliest by their new look. There are reports that Salman Khan is also becoming a Sikh. It is being said that he will play role of a Sikh soldier in his upcoming film Heroes. Except it Ranbir Kapoor will also become a Singh in his upcoming flick. Success Mantra Akhshay Kumar’s ‘Singh Is King’ is the such second most success Bollywood film in which a hero is a Sikh. It must be learnt that in spite of SGPC’s approval some radical Sikh organizations had objected the release of Akhshay’s ‘Singh Is King’ because according to them his role in that film presented the Sikh’s in bad lights. King Though some radical organizations have criticized the ‘Singh Is King’ but it is being said that it will influence people towards Sikhism. Whether it is the character or the script of the film, the film was a very big hit and it Bollywood has taken it as that Singh is always the real King. But only time will tell whether Singh is real king or the turban that makes him king.
