Release According to the latest Bollywood news Ashthavinayak Cine Vision Ltd’s forthcoming movie ‘Kidnap’ will be released on October 2, 2008 worldwide. Censor Board has cleared it with a UA certificate. Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan and Minissha Lamba starer is being directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. It must be noted that he also had directed ‘Dhoom’. It is Imran Khan’s second film that is being released after ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na ‘. 

Story The story is based on the kidnapping theory.  In the film Imran Khan kidnaps Sanjay Dutt’s daughter. The role of the daughter has been played by Minissha Lamba. A swimming scene was shot in Mauritius in which Minissha and Imran were seen swimming in the chilling water. It is one of the high point of the story from where Minissha is kidnapped. In the story Minissha is the only child of Vidya Malvade and Sanjay Dutt. She lives with her mom and grandmother because her parents has divorced and moved apart eight years ago. Imran Khan is plying the role of Kabir who kidnaps Minissha before her eighteenth birthday to settle down old odds with Sanjay Dutt.  Sanjay Dutt is a New York based businessman who comes to India to save his daughter from the clutches of the kidnapper. He does many difficult tasks as a condition to rescue his daughter. In the end he gets some clues that leads hit to find his daughter.

Kissing Scene There is a hot  kissing scene between Sanjay Dutt and Vidya Malvade..Vidya had played the role of team India captain in the Shahrukh starer ‘Chuk De India’ movie. In the film Chuk De girl Vidya plays the role of Sanjay Dutt’s wife. Sanjay is a billionaire in the film. According to the director kissing scene was required in the story and he went ahead without any compromise. There was also a kissing scene in Dhoom 2 between Hrithik and Aishwarya and Sanjay Gadhvi had retained it in the film though Bachchans were not easy with it. There are rumors that when Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata learnt about the scene she was very upset. She was not convinced  even when Dutt had explained her about his professional demands and requirements.
