Michael Jackson had a great impact on music in the whole world. In his music career, he did a great job either that is singing, recording, dancing or writing. He was a versatile artist who performed many stage shows, singles. He joined band Jackson brothers in 1964. Later they changed the name of the band to Jackson5 and gained so much popularity. The band was renamed The Jacksons in 1975. He made a very important role in the band and also had given many successful singles, albums along with this band.
Michael Jackson also did many charities shows. He was also donated millions of dollars for charity, beneficial causes. Michael Jackson supported 39 charities. Michael Jackson participated in many charitable shows or events. He performed many shows for charity purpose. Michael Jackson joined Luciano Pavarotti for the support of non-profit organization war child. He raised million dollars for refugees of Kosovo as well as for children of Guatemala.
In his final years, Michael Jackson was suffering from financial condition. In this time Sony offered Jackson a good offer and Jackson was agreed but details were not mentioned publically. Michael Jackson was awarded by many awards in his full career. He was awarded by diamond award in 2006 for selling over 100 million albums. Michael Jackson gave a great business to the music world with his singles, performances or albums either individually or with the band.
Fans of Michael Jackson bade farewell to their “King of pop” on Tuesday. Thousands of fans attended the memorial ceremony. Family of this King of pop planned a private ceremony at Forest Lawn cemetery in Hollywood Hills in early morning. There were many music world personalities who devote their tributes to the amazing singer. Mariah Carey performed on I’ll be there”, Jackson’s 1970 hit. South African former president Nelson Mandela and Diana Ross gave its tribute and singer Smokey Robinson read out that tribute on behalf of them. Stevie Wonder also devoted their tribute by singing song for him. The memorial was filled with the pictures of super star Michael Jackson. Many friends and fans who wrote their testimonials for him were also show there. Michael Jackson’s gold trimmed funerary box was made by the Batesville Casket Company who made the casket for James brown. The casket was made of solid bronze plated 14-carat gold. The interior was lined with luxurious crushed velvet. The company made three coffins so that the family of Jackson could choose the best one from them. The funerary box was shipped to California one week before. Many news channels were carried live ceremony of this favorite super star. The public ceremony was held in Staples Centre sports arena in Downtown Los Angels where the Jackson’s brother carried the casket of the great singer. This is the same place where Michael Jackson rehearsed for his comeback tour one day before. There were 1.6 millions people awaited for their seat at memorial place but only 17,500 tickets were distributed.
