After accused by PDP leader Omar decided to give his resign to the Governor N N Vohra. He said to governor that they must set a committee to investigate this and accept his resign if he found guilty. Omar was accused in the rape case. A minor girl who was blamed some senior politicians, police officers, paramilitary, and bureaucrats in 2006 for raping her. 2006 Sex scandal: In the year 2006, police arrested a woman named Sabina who delivered girls to the senior officers, leader and a girl from those girls accused some leader and other officers for raped her. Omar was accused that he was also involved in that case.
