Cheerleaders add spice to cricket extravaganza: In the Champion League T20 sponsored by Airtel started on Thursday. All are very excited, the reason is very obvious it is cricket, but there is another reason and that is the white Mischief Gals. On the inauguration of this championship, these girls were increasing the excitement as they all were looking bubbly, lively. The audience in the M. Chinnaswamy stadium of Bangalore got much excited because of the presence of these cheerleaders. These cheerleaders are to cheer the cricketers during the whole series. According to deputy president of United Spirits Ashok Kapoor these girls are for motivating the cricketers when they will play.
Cheerleader team: The number of girls in the team of cheerleader is 14 and all are from US. First these girls are in Bangalore and after that they will go to another two venues for the tournament which are in Hyderabad and New Delhi respectively. These girls are especially choreographed for the tournaments. According to choreographer Elizabeth Rifino, the aim of introducing this kind of concept in the tournaments is to make the whole series more excitement. These cheerleaders also performed in various national American Sports like Basketball League and the National Football league. According to these cheerleaders, they enjoyed a lot in Bangalore. They did lots of fun, party in this very beautiful city of India. According to one member of team, Bangalore is very beautiful place and so beautiful are people here. According to another member the weather of the Bangalore is very cool, people are friendly. She also mentioned that there is no doubt that we are here for doing our work, but along with this we also enjoyed the every moment spent here. Girls enjoyed their tour to Bangalore and hope the same for the next two destinations.
Mix reaction of fans for cheerleaders: This new concept of cheerleaders got a mix reaction from the fans of the cricket. Some like and some not. According to some fans these cheerleaders are just distracting the whole game as they do many moves which are so vulgar and also the clothes wear by them are like to destroy the concentration. But few do not agree with these, they said the presence of these cheerleaders just spice the cricket and also they are doing their job to increase the morale of the disappointed cricketers in the field. They said this is the new concept in India and the Indian people do not accept this with comfort. This is the main reason that it gets a mix reaction. Cheerleaders are in the field to continue the excitement of the cricket even at that time when the cricketers are not doing so well or fail to give their best.
