India thrashes Sri Lanka to open 1-0 series lead: Today India registered a historical victory over Sri Lanka in second test match by an inning and 144 runs at the Green Park ground, Kanpur. It is biggest margin win over Sri Lanka surpassing the previous one of an inning and 119 runs in Lucknow in 1994. By this match victory India has become sixth country to win 100 test matches and also taken a lead of 1-0 in the series of three matches. At the end of third day game Sri Lanka were trailing by 356 runs from Indian first inning total of 642.

Sri Lanka team did not play well: Sri Lanka started the fourth day play from its previous day score of 57 for 4 following the follow on. Till lunch time Sri Lankan team had lost four more wickets and had added 149 runs to previous day score. Sri Lanka lost fifth wicket as Mathews when he was at just 15 runs and caught by Dravid on the ball of Zaheer Khan. P Jayawardene joined to Samaraweera in middle and made a partnership of 61 runs for the sixth wicket. Then soon he was sent back to pavilion by Indian off spinner Harbhajan Singh. Herath came to take place of P Jayawardene but failed to do much and given out as leg before the wicket on bowling of Harbhajan when he was at an individual score of 13 runs. Muralitharan was the next batsman and added 29 runs for the team including 3 fours and 2 sixes at just 11 balls. Soon he was also sent back to pavilion by Ojha. After him Mendis came in when Sri Lanka was at 191 for 8 and started contributing for the team. Sri Lanka reached at a score of 206 for 8 at lunch time. Mendis and Samaraweera trying for their team made a partnership 73 runs and lost Mendis as ninth wicket when Sri Lanka was at 264. Last man Welegedara also failed to add more and Sri Lanka was all out at a total of 269 runs. Samaraweera was unbeaten at 78 runs with the help of 11 fours.

Indian bowlers are great: In the second inning Harbhajan Singh shown excellent bowling taking 3 wickets and Ojha got 2 wickets for the team. Rest of wickets was shared by Sreesanth, Zaheer Khan, Shewag and Yuvraj Singh and they got 1 wicket each. Sreesanth, who made entry after 19 months in the team, had taken five wickets for India in first inning and one wicket in second inning. He was rewarded with Man of the Match award for his excellent performance in the match. After first match ended as draw in Ahmedabad, Indian team has got lead of one match over Sri Lanka by winning the second test match in Kanpur and has got confidence for the next match. They will face Sri Lanka in third and last test match at Mumbai on 2^nd December.

He said it is a great honor for me and I feel proud on it that I am the only actor across the world who had nominated for this great opportunity. He said I have no words to express my feelings but the fact is I am very happy.  The Prime Minister also represents him the uniform of relay torch bearer for 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. They have full hope that the movie will also be rocking once released but unfortunately when it was released on October 30, 2009, it was not doing so well and the business from the movie was not so good or can say not up to the mark. They all felt bad at that time. They said they worked hard but still what they else say? According to critics Kurbaan was a flop movie and did not give good response.

Kurbaan: About the movie the over all movie was not so good. The story writing and also the songs was not so impressive as expected. There is no doubt the cast was strong but only cast does not matter. Today’s public is very smart and they know where to spend and how to spend.  This is the reason that eve the longest kiss in the movie and the back less scenes were not impressed the audience and they went back and prefer to sit in home instead of watching this. This was the story of a girl who was teacher and fell in love with a professor and later they shifted to New York to start a new life but the destiny is something unexpected for them and they crossed from many experiences which was not good. The teacher of the movie learnt a lesson in the end that never believes anyone in the life. Overall the review was not so good and the movie was considered a flop. Director of the movie has hoped that the movie will go though well but god forbidden it was not going as expected the whole team and crew.

The movie is directed by Rensil D’Silva and the producer of the movie is Karan Johar and Hiroo Johar. The story of the movie is written by Rensil D’ Slilva itself. Music of the movie is given by Salim-Sulaiman and Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. Director and producer tried a lot to make the movie rocking and put a lot masala in the movie to make it spicy but unfortunately all their efforts were failed and they were not happy after getting such low response of the movie. The interesting thing in the whole movie is its production time period that was starting in November 2008 and completed in May 2009.            

England cricket great Sir Ian Botham has dismissed talk: Today’ cricket has taken many variations and each person has its own choice and according to that they like to watch the series. Some of them added that now the game is becoming just a way to earn income and for this even the game administrator helped a lot. They made different formats of the game and indirectly become harshly on the format. They even themselves don’t know this. One of the great stars of cricket Sir Ian Botham was very angry and said this is not going to be good with the game. He also said it was ‘bastardizing’ the game. He said twenty-twenty is good games which introduce the youngsters in the filed but if overall we see then this is just game of fame and nothing else. He said this is not the way of playing this game.

Authorities are greedy:  He said it seems that now everyday match is result of pure greediness of the authority members. They become so greedy that they organize the tournament just a gap of shot time. He gave a very beautiful example and said if you watch your favorite movie every day then definitely it will become leas favorite film of yours. Similar thing is happened with the cricket game. People get bored by seeing the matches again and again. It will low down the craze of match among people as they become used to of this thing. Earlier there was craze about this game as the matches were played once or twice in a year, but now day’s everyday there is a match. What’s all this proves? Simply that people of the authority become greedy. To earn money they organize match in short interval of time and this will leave a bad impact of the game on the people. He also said twenty- twenty games should be played once in every four years like World Cup format.  

England team is good: Botham told that England team is at number five at this time and we don’t mind for this at least we are still on number 5. He said if we have right bowlers and all of them are well fit then there may be chance that we reach to number one position. He also said that the game administrators should have to think about this. It is a game and don’t make it a way to earn income. It will spoil the mood of the game and also people don’t want this. They want a healthy and exciting game and not a dull or boring game. He said I just hope that they would think about this.     

Indian community of London: Most of the Indians are living in this region only. According to a survey, in London the population of Indians is about 500,000 that are much more than in any other regions like Netherland, Germany, Italy, Portugal and France. Largest community of Indians was found in west London. Different Ethnicity of Indians is as follows:

1.    Gujrati:  The second largest Indian group in London belongs to Gujrat ethnicity. They mainly believ in Hindu religion, but there is a minority of Muslims. The capitols of Gujarati community include Wembley, Croydon and the northeastern boroughs.

2.    Sindhi: Like Gujarati, another ethnicity which is in available in large number in London is Sindhi. They all are almost believed in Hindu religion. Most of the Sindhi’s are living in Southall.

3.    Marathi:  One of the popular states of India is Maharashtra and the community from Maharashtra that is Marathis, is living in large number in London and they are almost working in white collar professionals and above all most of them came from Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Kolhapur. 905 of them are Hindu, but there are small minorities of Muslims too.

4.    Bengal:  These Bengalis are from the states of Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal and usually belong to Hindu or Muslims religions respectively.

5.    Tamil & Telugu: Unlike others there are small number of Indians from Tamil and Telugu in London. These all are mainly from Hyderabad, India or Chennai. Most of them belong to Hindu religion, but there is small minority of Muslims also.

6.   Kannadiga: Small number of Kannadiga is also living in London and most of them belong to Hindu religion and a sizable number of Muslims.

7.     Bihari: In London, there are people belongs to Bihar from India. They are around 75% Hindu and about 20% Muslim.

East African Indians in London: Besides all these, there is another Indian community that came to London and settled down. These are East African Indians which came there and lived from long time. Most of them came from different regions like Uganda. These Indians community are from Hindu including Gujarati, Sikhs and Muslims.

Religious groups: There are various religions in India and so are in London as almost most of the people in London belong to these different religions so in London there are also different religious group. These are classified as below:   

Hinduism: As most of the people in London is from Hindu religion so there are lots of temples in London. It is said that if there is any largest temple outside in India then that is in London. The largest temple in London is Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, which is situated in Neasden, London.

Sikhism: It is also said that after Toronto, and Vancouver, it is London that has the wealthiest Sikh community. Almost they all are live in West London, Southall. The total population of Sikh community is estimated to be 750,000 in the U.K.

Islam: Near about 20% of Indians which are lived in London belongs to Muslims religion. This community is very successful, much wealthier and better established than other Muslim groups in London, such as the Somali or Bangladeshi community. Most of them are located in Tooting in South side of the London.These Indian Muslims have strong connections with the Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslim community which are living in London and these Muslim Indians came from East Africa, Jamaica, Gujarat or Bombay.

Christianity: Unlike all others there is not much people of Christians from India in London. But still there are few of them and most of them belong to states of Kerala and Goa.

Parsi: There are also people belongs to Parsi community. These are mainly come to London from state of Gujarat or from Bombay.

In short, we can say that most of the Indian communities are lived in London and not only lived but also well settled there. They are doing almost all kind of jobs there. They are doing white collar professional jobs as well as business. This shows that Indians in London are also hold the same position and reputation that they get in India and we feel proud on this that in abroad they make India pride on them for their success.
