Shahid won’t talk money: Shahid Kapoor returned back from his New York tour and now has become the part of the rumours about his father’s directorial debut film Mausam. The media told that He is going to charge Rs.12.crore for this movie. He told that his dad has always wanted to make a film with him, so he planned it in 2007 and decided to take Karina Kapoor as heroine of the film, which is now ridiculous. The 28 years young handsome hero-Shahid Kapoor declared that his Film Mausam will be certainly financed by a leading film corporation. This movie is expected to go on floor in January and most of the film will be shot abroad as the movie requires the good sequences and locations. But Shahid doesn’t want to clear the picture whether he is going to charge what amount for the movie, as he says that nothing is being given on papers. The movie is still in the final draft stage. As per the market report he got his last highest price Rs.8 crores for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Movie- Kaminey.

Shahid-his basics and working style: Shahid doesn’t want a flood of movies at a same time period, as he thinks that audience‘s tastes never remain same they change, so he doesn’t want to be the part of the movie which is not in interest of the audience. He feels that he is not so senior in this industry that he may be compared by any other/senior actor of this industry. He believes to be idle rather than do mediocre films, even three good scripts a year is tough to come by. He has come from a middle family and has traveled by train, bus and even rickshaws. But, today Shahid Kapoor is more fortunate than successful. His parents were from film but at the same time out of it, they never became the part of strong show-bizz. So he didn’t want to be pushed, but wanted to be chosen. He is a simple guy and wants to do the things very quietly and calmly. He is getting nervous if his father, Pankaj Kapoor visits his sets.

Shahid Kapoor’s relationship: After Kareena made news with Saif Ali Khan about her affair, Shahid always avoid media and kept himself away form it. When Shahid was questioned about his break-up experience, he straightway told that he is up and about to out of that and geared himself for his next releases. He told that he is aware of his personal relationships and has nothing to fret, for he is not answerable to everybody. He told that the he has just returned back, it was just a fun having shooting at Toronto for Mr. Aziz for his film Jab we met, nothing else.
