2007 WC loss was more painful than my failure as captain: India’s most talented and one of the great cricket stars Sachin Tendulkar rates that the loss of 2007 World Cup was the worst moment in his professional life and he blamed that defeat to the batting order. He said this was the bitter moment in my life and I never forget this defeat in my life. He said this was the moment that we all never forget. We were very much hopeful that we won this World cup and all were going in right direction, but suddenly I personally felt that batting order was not correct and this was one of the major reasons of defeat of our team. At that time if we played little better then we never lost that match, but the fact is we lost that match and hence the world cup 2007.

Sachin Tendulkar did not say on Greg Chappell: Sachin Tendulkar did not say nay word on Greg Chappell regarding his training and the tips given by him. He is not opened the secrets of green room but said this that the batting order was not good. All batsmen were not in their perfect form. We are far away from our batting practice and thus did not do well in the match. He said I am not blaming anyone but I personally felt batting order was not correct. There was need to be some changes in batting order, but at that time it was not happened and the result was in front of all.

Sachin Tendulkar felt it more than his failure as captain: According to Sachin Tendulkar. This was the bitter experience in my professional life. He said even far much bitter than failure of mine as a captain of the team. I did not feel so bad at that time when I was not become a successful captain. May be I am not a good captain and that was the reason that I did not manage the whole team, but that is fine with me. It is not necessary that a good batsman must be a good captain, but I am a batsman and still our team lost the World cup 2007 that was much painful for me. He is one of the world’s top batsmen and may be this is the reason that he felt so bad. Sachin Tendulkar is a great batsman and no one has doubt on it and his regret of not winning the World Cup shows that he is very sincere about his game and very sensitive for his every game either it is ODI or T-20 or WC. We are very proud on you master blaster of India
