Akshay Kumar promotes the 2010 Winter Olympics: Once again a great achievement of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. He has been nominated as a brand ambassador of India to promote 2010 Olympic Games in Canada. It’s a great achievement from him that he is the only actor in the list of torch bearers across the world. The Prime Minister of Canada introduced Akshay Kumar as the sole torch bearer from India who promotes the Olympic Games in an event in Mumbai. On November 16, 2009, he was announced by Canadian Prime Minister as an Indian brand ambassador. Canadian Prime Minister said he is happy that Akshay has got this chance as he is very responsible and mature person and knows the value of the torch and respect as well.   Stephen Harper present relay torch: The Prime Minister Stephen Harper presents the relay torch to Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in Mumbai. He clapped when Akshay received the torch and also very happy after receiving that. He said it is a great honor for me and I feel proud on it that I am the only actor across the world who had nominated for this great opportunity. He said I fell proud to be Indian and as Indian I will do this job efficiently. His name was announced in Mumbai in an event and he said I felt so delighted at that time. He said I have no words to express my feelings but the fact is I am very happy.  The Prime Minister also represents him the uniform of relay torch bearer for 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. Akshay suddenly wore that uniform and after that received the torch and when he showed the torch to audience the Prime Minister was so happy. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has arrived in India first time. The aim of his visit was the first part of his effort to boost trade and tourism between the two countries. He came to India with the aim of strong relationship in future and this is the first step in that way. Saifareena’s ‘Kurbaan’: It seems Kurbaan did not get so much publicity because of its story, casting but it is popular because of its extra external rumors. Recently Kareena Kapoor’s poster was covered by Shiv Sainik to cover her back and lots of more like that. They have full hope that the movie will also be rocking once released but unfortunately when it was released on October 30, 2009, it was not doing so well and the business from the movie was not so good or can say not up to the mark. They all felt bad at that time. They said they worked hard but still what they else say? According to critics Kurbaan was a flop movie and did not give good response. Kurbaan: About the movie the over all movie was not so good. The story writing and also the songs was not so impressive as expected. There is no doubt the cast was strong but only cast does not matter. Today’s public is very smart and they know where to spend and how to spend.  This is the reason that eve the longest kiss in the movie and the back less scenes were not impressed the audience and they went back and prefer to sit in home instead of watching this. This was the story of a girl who was teacher and fell in love with a professor and later they shifted to New York to start a new life but the destiny is something unexpected for them and they crossed from many experiences which was not good. The teacher of the movie learnt a lesson in the end that never believes anyone in the life. Overall the review was not so good and the movie was considered a flop. Director of the movie has hoped that the movie will go though well but god forbidden it was not going as expected the whole team and crew.
