Akshay Kumar promotes the 2010 Winter Olympics: Once again a great achievement of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. He has been nominated as a brand ambassador of India to promote 2010 Olympic Games in Canada. It’s a great achievement from him that he is the only actor in the list of torch bearers across the world. The Prime Minister of Canada introduced Akshay Kumar as the sole torch bearer from India who promotes the Olympic Games in an event in Mumbai. On November 16, 2009, he was announced by Canadian Prime Minister as an Indian brand ambassador. Canadian Prime Minister said he is happy that Akshay has got this chance as he is very responsible and mature person and knows the value of the torch and respect as well.
Stephen Harper present relay torch: The Prime Minister Stephen Harper presents the relay torch to Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in Mumbai. He clapped when Akshay received the torch and also very happy after receiving that. He said it is a great honor for me and I feel proud on it that I am the only actor across the world who had nominated for this great opportunity. He said I fell proud to be Indian and as Indian I will do this job efficiently. His name was announced in Mumbai in an event and he said I felt so delighted at that time. He said I have no words to express my feelings but the fact is I am very happy. The Prime Minister also represents him the uniform of relay torch bearer for 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. Akshay suddenly wore that uniform and after that received the torch and when he showed the torch to audience the Prime Minister was so happy. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper has arrived in India first time. The aim of his visit was the first part of his effort to boost trade and tourism between the two countries. He came to India with the aim of strong relationship in future and this is the first step in that way.
Akshay Kumar is so kind: This is not the first time that Akshay get involved in any social kind of work. In his busy schedule whenever he gets chance he do whatever he has done for needy and poor people. He said he also comes from a small family who saw many ups and downs in the life and so I personally understand the feeling of all those people very well. He said so I do what I can do for them. Akshay Kumar is very genuine and nice person who is known for his unique action scenes in this film industry. He is one of the top most actors of India.
