Identity issue: The bollywood actor Aamir Khan has found a new way to promote his upcoming movie 3 Idiots. He has decided to leave the clue and disappear. The Actor gave his first clue in Hindi which was read by Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar in front of media. First clue was “Kahan jaoon kaise jaoon, itne sawal kaise suljaoon, kabhi to sochoon main udd jaoon. Kabhi sadak pe car bhagaoon, ya chuk chuk gaadi ko aazmaoon, chahe main jaise bhi jaoon, maa ke aangan mein raat bitaoon.” Sachin has already seen the movie with his wife Anjli and some other friends at Ketnav studios in suburban Bandra. He went to the birth place of her mother in Varansi changing his identity. He stayed at Saraswati Hotel which is nearby Mughalsarai for three days during his visit and room was booked by a man whose name is Akram Shah. This became a controversy issue as the hotel let him live without proper verification and a notice has been sent to the owner of Saraswati hotel for this reason. License of hotel can also be cancelled for such negligence. Amit Kumar who is serving bank as manager told that Aamir Khan was staying in room number 202 of the hotel from December 10 to 13 but they were not aware of this fact till he left the hotel. He said Akram is well known person to the hotel authorities and he has even booked a room with their hotel one month ago for a film company. He also added in his statement that as they knew him well by face so they did not ask him for any kind of identity proof. The representatives of Aamir Khan said that there is no issue of false identity as Aamir lived there with Akram who is production head of movie and some other members of the movie team were also staying there. According to representatives hotel authorities were aware of this whole matter.

First destination of hide and seek visit: Aamir was searching for the birthplace of her mother in Varanasi and he changed his looks so that no one can identify him while travelling and he was wearing very simple clothes with his face covered with muffler. He visited Teliyanala mohalla in the Kotwali area near the Prahlad Ghat to visit the place where his mother Zeenat had born, Khwaja Manzil and got very emotional as he reached at the place. He is on seven city tour for the promotion of his movie and holy place and birth place of his mother was first stop for him. The superstar Aamir Khan was seen as Banarasi Babu chewing paan and riding in a rickshaw for the promotion of his movie. The rickshaw puller Ramlakhan Paswan told that Aamir was having white beared face like old people to hide his identity and he got very emotional as he reached at the place of her mother’s birth. He also visited Dasaswamedh Ghat. Aamir Khan has left for his second destination and left the clue for it to find him “Andheri Kaali Raat mein aaunga main, Khooni Darwaja Khatkhataunga main, Aap mujh tak pahunche na par koi baat nahin, Kahin par apni chhap chhod jaunga main.” Aamir Khan’s way for the promotion of movie is really unique and he has big hopes from his film.

About the movie 3 Idiots: Aamir Khan’s movie 3 Idiots with tagline ‘Don’t be Stupid, be an Idiot’ is about to release on festive occasion of Christmas on December 25. Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi are in male lead roles with Kareena Kapoor as leading actress. 3 Idiots is story of three friends which is based upon a famous novel “Five Point Someone” which is written by an Indian writer Chetan Bhagat. The movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The film’s sound tracks are composed by Shantanu Moitra while lyrics are written by Swanand Kirkire. Aamir Khan who is 44 year old is playing role of 22 year old Ryan who is a college student with handsome looks and likes to have fun and adventurous life. He loves his friends more than any other things and don’t want to be a book worm who are reading books whole time and he believes in doing his work his own way and scores low grades in college exams. Madhavan is playing role of Hari who is very shy type of person by his nature and want to look handsome. He is average in studies and falls in love with his professor’s daughter Neha Kurien (Kareena Kapoor). Sharman is having role of a simply boy Alok who want to score high grades in the exams and want to earn money so that he can overcome poverty of his family. Aamir Khan also tried to enjoy the college student life during shooting in the campus of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalorewith his co-stars who also worked with him in Rang De Basanti. Aamir Khan has also lost his weight for looking normal student as he had gained weight and had made muscles for his last movie Ghajani which was a big hit. Most of movie is shot in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ladakh and Shimla. Film is about to release now finally on December 25, 2009 and even before release it seems to a good movie and ranked at second rank after most awaited movie of superstar Shahrukh Khan “My Name Is Khan”.

Importance of promotion of movie: Aamir Khan understand very well the importance of promotion of movie as in today’s time so many movies are coming and most of them flop due to various reasons. He has chosen unique idea for the promotion and it is never done before by any other actor. He has decided to visit seven cities and stay there for two or three days. He leaves the clues behind for the destination where ever he wants to travel so that others can try to find him. He is using his acting skills well during visits to hide his identity at the places.
