Trailer ‘Well Done Abba’: Shyam Benegal’s next film ‘ Well Done Abba’ is now in rumors and news now-a-days, which is going to be released on 26th of March’2010 in theatres all over the country. The film is a comedy drama and expected to give positive results by gathering good number of audience in the theatres.The trailer of the film is already out to be shown for the promotional activities and propaganda purposes. The film ‘well done Abba’ is starring a very talented casts like Boman Irani, Sameer Dattani and Minisha Lamba, who are never been seen in such superb and comic roles. He film has already created a great impression and interest all over the world, which is really a very positive and beneficial symptom for the film’s release and business. The other casts of the film are Ravi Kissen, Ila Arun, Sonali Kulkarni, Rajit Kapoor, and Yash Pal Sharma.

The one more different project of ‘Reliance Big Pictures’: Shyam Benegal is a very famous and noted filmmaker who always presents the very different projects. So, after pouring the two good, funny and outstanding blockbusters i.e. ‘Paa’ and ‘3-Idiots’ , Reliance big pictures has made to present  one more very different and promising film – ‘Well done abba’, which is very near to be shown in theatres in March as a new year present for the audience. This film is shot in Hyderabad and based on a Muslim cultures family. Boman Irani and Minnisha Lamba have played very different and pivotal comic roles, which would certainly make the film really unforgettable and remarkable. The film is the story of an ordinary person – Armaan Ali, a driver; the character is played by Boman Irani who is working for the senior executive in Mumbai. The film shows how he (a common man) is worried about his young daughter’s marriage and other common problems of his life which is being presented in a very different and comic manner. The story of the film is being taken from “Narsaiyyan Ki Bavdi’ by Jeelani Bano, ‘Phulwa Ka Pul’ by Sanjeev and ‘Still Waters’. The screenplay is given by Jayant Kriplani and the script and dialogues have been written by Ashok Mishra. The music is being composed by Shantanu Moitra, whereas, the lyrics have been given by Ashok Mishra, Swanand Kirkire and Ila Arun. The film had won audience and critical acclaim at several festivals around the world that includes the recently concluded 6th Dubai Film Festival 2009, the 33rd Montreal World Film Festival 2009 in ‘World Greats’ Section and the 53rd London Film Festival 2009 in ‘World Cinema’ section.So, in total it is a hearty laughter which will definitely swipe-off the day to day worries and tensions of the stressed audience for the few hours at least.

Boman Irani from Theatre:  Boman Irani was born on 1st October, 1962 in a Parsi family in Maharashtra. He is a theatre based actor but also a good photographer who had worked as a professional photographer in 1987 till 1989. Boman Irani loved acting since his school time and later trained by his acting coach Hansraj Siddhia from 1981 to 1983 and become a professional actor. Boman worked and practiced more of British Theatre and soon developed very good accents.Alyque Padamsee was Boman Irani’s mentor, who played the role as Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Gandhi. Boman’s first theatre performance was ‘Roshini’ and his serials were Family Ties and Mahatma Vs Gandhi, where he played the role of Gandhi. He has played more than 40 plays and played lead roles in approximately 15 of them.

Boman‘s Filmy Career: Boman’s career was started with commercials such as Fanta, Ceat and Krackjack biscuits but he became popular with his comedy role in ‘Munna bhai MBBS’. From the very memorable role of J. Asthana, Boman Irani has become one of the good supporting actors of bollywood. He mostly has done comic roles which has become his specialty of roles and he been offered these kind of roles only. His roles in his most of the movies are comic characters like: Main Hun Na, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Dostana, No Entry, 3 Idiots. He has done some supporting roles also as- Veer-Zaara, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Maara, Lakshya, Honeymoon Travels Pvt.Ltd, Sorry Bhai, Page-3, My wife’s murder. Similarly, he has done few villainous roles also in Khosla Ka Ghosla, Don- The Chase Begins again and Eklavya. He is a versatile actor, can perform any kind of role in any condition and can speak different languages very fluently, which are English, Hindi, Gujrati and Bengali also.
