Scientists have done many wonderful inventions. Aeroplane is one of such wonderful inventions. With this invention, scientist and car manufacturers dreamt to make a flying car. Plane had made his first flight 108 years ago but till now scientists were unsuccessful to change their dream into reality. A flying car is the desire of every person of the world because of increasing traffic and insecurity reasons. It is a fact why inventors are working on 28 such projects. Only office of Patent and Trademark America get more than 80 patents related to flying car project. This dream will soon come true approximately in the end of December if we believe on the reports of American famous car Manufacturer Company named Terrafugia Transition. It can be seen on the roads and its name will be “Terrafugia Transition Roadable Light Sport Craft”.
According to the company report the flying car has been tested 28 times on American roads and it is 100 percent successful. This car will travel at 65 km/h on road and 115 km/h in the air. The car will take-off within 30 seconds. It will fly at the height of 400-450 meter from earth. It can fly upward and downward according to the conditions. Experts think that it will be purchase in crowded areas because it can solve traffic problems of the developing countries. It is banned to fly under 450 meter from earth because some buildings of metropolitan cities have the height up to this limit. There is a switch located on the dash board near the steering wheel which will change the car into the flying mode. By pushing that switch the car begins to fly in the sky within 30 seconds. A plane needs a runway to take off but the car won’t need any run-way to fly into the air. Its structure is like helicopter. As it left the earth, speed of the car automatically increased. A may occurs in your mind that this car will be a confusing car. But don’t worry there isn’t any confusing operating system located in this car. Ordinary fuel, petrol, which we use in other cars, can be used in this car. It is very easy to maintain it. It doesn’t need special size and design of the garage. It can be parked like other small cars. Price of the car will be approximately one crore rupees and twenty eight lacs according to the Indian currency. Its price looks very high if we see Indian bazaars. Ordinary luxury cars are selling at the price rate of 2-5 crore rupees in Indian market and there are thousands of customers of these cars.
There are many projects at the brink of the success in manufacturing the flying cars. these are Curtis auto planes, Aerobile, Air Fabian, Aero car and flying or roadable aircraft. But there are many difficulties to decide who the true inventor of flying car idea is. Americans think that Glenn Curtis is the father of this dream. If we search on the internet we found that British scientist and inventor Sir Clive is the inventor of this idea. But the credit will go to that company or person which will firstly launch flying car into the market. This car is the necessity and efforts of American government. American soldiers are struggling against terrorists and geographical condition of Afghanistan for a very long time. They had demanded a vehicle which could run on the road and fly in the sky. When American government looked their soldiers’ difficulties they asked Terrafugia Company to design and develop such vehicle. So government gave 4.1 crore American dollar to this company for this research project.
Terrafugia Transition Company is at the last stage of this project. 28 successful tests show that there is no technical problem in developing this car. This car will bring a revolution in the field of tour and travel. But there are two sides of every invention. There are some dangers in front of us related to this car. Plane crash is normal news of present time. Accident can happen if the operators of this car will loose the control over this car. Second thing is that this car is prone to terrorist or any kind of such attacks. A lot of practice is needed to operate this car. But it is not possible to train every operator. Perhaps there will be many miss happenings while flying this car. Although there are some difficulties about this car but every car driver dreams to have such an amazing car.
