Dus Ka Dum Salman Khan’s appearance on the small screen in the Dus Ka Dum has added a lot to his popularity. People came to know about his temperament and behavior from the serial. People. almost from all sections of the society participated in the serial. People took great interest in the serial as they saw their favorite star talking, exchanging and sharing views with the participants. Whether it were Bollywood participants or some ordinary Indians he was always the victim of the ironic comments .

Past In the past, Salman has always remained in headlined because of his wrongdoings. He had a negative image in the eyes of the public. His fight with Aishwarya, Vivek Oberoy and hunting and killing of endangered Chinkara (deer) had made him a villain. His fight with Shahrukh Khan had further tarnished his public image. Relations It is being said that the reason of the problem is Lara’s replacement by Kareena in Sohail’s home production Main Aur Mrs Khanna. Though they were good friends in the past but after it they had not interacted much with each other. She was expected to play a lead role in the film but was dropped from the project. Since then a lot had changed between Lara and Salman. Except it Lara is also playing a role in Shahrukh’s Billo Barber. His spat with Shahrukh is also being viewed as a reason of his cold behavior towards Lara.

Rally 53 years old south Indian film super star Chiranjeevi launched his political party ‘Praja Rajyam’ in a massive rally held in the temple city named Tirupati of the state of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, August 26. Lakhs of his fans and supporters had gathered at the venue hours before the arrival of their reel hero before them in the real life. More than 4 lakh people had gathered at the venue by 3:30 pm while the announcement was made in the evening. By the evening almost all he roads leading to the city were full with the Chiranjeevi supporters. When the sun was setting a sun was rising in the state politics.

Announcement Chiranjeevi had announced his future plans of entering into the politics on August 17. Since then a lot of political changes happened in state politics. Many Telugu Desam Party and Congress leaders had expressed their willingness to join the super star’s party. Mammoth public gathering on the meeting venue has sent red signals to the Telugu Desam Party and Congress and has also projected Chiranjeevi as a hot choice for the chief ministerial ship. After a long speech of two hours he announced the name of the party and a handicapped youth unfurled the party’s green and while flag with a red sun in the middle.

Speech In his speech he expressed his commitment to socialism and empowerment of the poor and downtrodden sections of the society. In a carefully drawn speech he touched almost all the issue that are being confronted by the state. He opposed the Special Economic Zones by saying that land is meant for cultivation and the advocated that farmer should have the right to decide the price of the land. He also favored the formation of separate Telangana state but said that priority should be given to end the backwardness of the region. He also talked about the Maoist problem and its remedies.

Policies He did not attack any individual or any party during his speech and used symbolism effectively to tell about the party policies and also to demolish the policies of present state government. He also favored the industrialization and strengthening of the state irrigation system. He has announced that his party will be progressive and democratic.

Shahrukh Vs Bachchans Recent incidents indicate that Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan who projects himself as the new King of Bollywood is slowly and steadily heading towards bad times. First is his spat between him and Amitabh Bachchan that remained for many days into the headlines. Shahrukh Vs Bharat But the worst was yet to follow when a Mumbai court responding to veteran actor Manoj Kumar’s petition ordered to Shahrukh and film director Farah Khan to delete a scene form there picture Om Shanti Om in which Manoj Kumar has been mimicked. It must be noted that producer Yash Chopra has acted as mediator between Manoj Kumar and director Farha Khan and had assured him that the scene will be deleted before the film is released. But it did not happened. Now court has given its judgment in favor of Manoj Kumar who has planed to file a defamation suit against Shahrukh’s Red Chillies Productions and director Gauri Khan who had not kept their promise.

Incident 20 years old Ishmeet Singh Sodhi, who had shot to fame after winning the reality TV show ‘Voice of India’ on Star, met a tragiv end when he got drowned in a swimming pool under mysterious circumstances in Maldives. Ishmeet had won the contest in November. He had gone to Maldives to perform in a show . He was staying in a hotel in Maldives. It is being said that he had gone to the hotel’s swimming pool with his friends where he, unfortunately fell into the deep of the pool and drowned. He was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital but was declared brought dead.

Music Industry Who ever heard the news was shocked and saddened by the tragic end that Ishmeet met. Release Both the much awaited films Aamir Khan’s JAANE TU… YA JAANE NA and Harry Baweja’s LOVE STORY 2050 hit the screens in less than 24 hours. Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na is released with 473 prints worldwide, which includes 282 analog prints, 81 digital screens and 110 prints overseas. It opened in theatres on June 3. While Jaane Tu… is being promoted as Imran’s debut film, his first appearance in front of the camera was with Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander. In that blockbuster, he had played Aamir’s character as a child. Mansoor Khan-helmed QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK, starring two newcomers Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, was focused on teenage love, with parental opposition acting as an obstacle.

Story JAANE TU… YA JAANE NA is a love story as well, but the execution of the subject makes all the difference to the similar love stories made in the past. Basically it is a simple tale about a group of friends, it focuses on one couple that’s in love, but is in a state of denial. There is a girl rich, tongue-in-cheek, dominant and aggressive and the boy has had a middle class upbringing and is submissive, soft-spoken and calm. The film, a love story between Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra set against a sci-fi backdrop, makes extensive use of technology and special effects in creating a time machine which transports the characters to Mumbai in the year 2050 with flying cars, 200 storied buildings, robots and sky rails. A robot, in the film, will also be seen playing a major role along with a computer-generated teddy bear, which appears to be more than just a toy. All eyes are now set on ‘Love Story 2050’ when audience will see its hero and its lovable teddy bear.

Joint Venture Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s home banner A B Corp has entered into Rs. 1500-crore joint venture with RBE, which would include film production, reality shows, TV serials and internet and mobile content. This news has come after the news came in that Anil Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment is in talks with Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks SKG for an investment of around $500 million in equity. Projects “Four directors have been short listed for projects which will go on the floor beginning 2008-end. A few other projects are at the consideration stage and will be announced shortly,” Wing commander P Ramesh, CEO of A B Corp told. To kick start the joint venture of the two stalwarts from the entertainment and business fields four directors-Rohan Sippy, Sujoy Ghosh, Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Balki-have been selected. It is said that Reliance Big Entertainment and A B Corp are equal partners in the film production in terms of creative input and finance. The Bachchan family will provide all the creative inputs while RBE will take care of the managerial, marketing and distribution of the projects.

Hollywood RBE earlier had this year had entered into agreements with Hollywood stars George Clooney, Nicolas Cage, Jim Carrey, Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt and moviemakers Chris Columbus and Jay Roach. From these developments one can expect that both the film industries coming closer and even working together. He died after some time in the hospital.he was associated with the film industry as a producer, financer etc.His sudden death sent shock waves across all the film industry. His death is being considered a big loss to the film industry.

He had produced, financed and collaborated with a varied range of films such as, from

Bandit Queen, Water, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam etc. His company Jhamu Sugandh Productions had made some hit films such as Rangeela, Aks and some more.He had also collaborated with some other film directors such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mani Ratnam, Aamir Khan, Deepa Mehta .He was also an advisor at Amitabh Bachan’s AB Corp. His company Jhamu Sugandh Poduction was also associated with the Kolkata film industry. Recently he had planed to produce at least six Bengali films.

He was having an adventures nature and had never hesitated to produce the films having controversial themes. Whether it was Deepa Mehta’s “Water” or Buddhadev Dasgputa’s ‘Kaal Purush’.He always financed ,produced and collaborated with those films that he thought ,take the Indian cinema to the new hights.He always welcomed the themes that touched the hidden and sensitive issues whether they were related to society, religion or politics.

‘Johny Gaddar’ and ‘Gulal’ were the last films he was associated with.Because of financial difficulties he had to abandon these projects and had lately become a recluse. He was not happy with the films being produced because he thought ‘cinema that he believed in and produced had ceased to make a difference to the film industry.’

Jhamu Sugandh’s sudden demise has caused a dent to the film industry that can’t be dealt with.Industy has lost a man who always provided some fresh air to it. Such experimental and daring personalities always show new ways to their respected fields and the Indian and Film Industry has lost one. He is no more but his films are like a lighthouse that always will guide the Industry to experiment with the new ideas.
