Aamir Khan- A unique personality: Aamir Khan needs no introduction. He is famous because of his unique style and theory. One of the things or which he is known to everybody is that he does a single movie in a year. The reason is, he believes in quality rather than quantity and no doubt all of his movies have something different and in almost every movie, he gives a new lesson to the world. Another quality is he always try to do some experiments in his life. Earlier he made movies about those historical warriors that did a great job, but few people knew this. In his movies like Mangal Panday and Lagaan, he put light on such caharacters and now people know who were bhuvan and Pandey? Though he is a superb and famous celebrity, yet he strictly follows rules and regulations. He is very disciplined in his life. According to his nephew( Imran Khan) unlike all other celebrities, he never use black mirrors for his cars as it is against the rule and because of this he has suffered many times. But still he is stick to his principles. I like my mamu in this manner and respect him.

Aamir’s favorite time pass: Aamir is a great lover of reading books. In his free time, he is always seen with a book in his hand especially in bedtime. He used to read books while at bed. What kind of book is he like to read? This curosity take us to his bed time and we found that he is reading books of great personalities of India especially Mahatma Gandhi. You will never find him to read Chetan Bhagat’s Five Point on which 3 Idiots is based. He always browses books based on life of Gandhi. Earlier in month of January, he is caught by reading book Mohandas: A true story of a man His People and An Empire written by Rajmohan Gandhi’s. In that book he came to know about hthe spiritual maariage of Mahatma Gandhi with Sarala devi(niece of Rabindranath Tagore). After that he read out “India After Gandhi”, a book written by Bangalore based historian Ramachandra Guha. At present he is turning the pages of Arthur Herman’s Gandhi & Churchill: The Epic Rivalry That Destroyed An Empire and Forged Our Age. After reading the book, he was surprised that how bothare similar in some manners. Hey, don;t be confused we are not promoting that read books while on the bed. However, tell you about Aamir’s philopshy on this account. Well sources also said that he is reading all these books because his next project is on Gandhi. Well time will tell whether it is a rumor or fact.

Aamir Khan does not believe in awards: Well now if we are talking about Aamir Khan, then how can i forget this point that he is not at all beleive in any of awards. According to him, these awards does not mean it in reality. And so we never see him in any of award functions. He said the real award is given by audience and he is happy that public rewarded him with their love. He said for me that is the only award and that matters for me. He said my purpose is to give the best and something that is useful for the public with entertainment. No doubt, he keeps his promise Taarein Zameen Par and 3 Idiots are few examples. Both movies have unique concept which never explored by anyone.

Recently, he was appeared in Janta Ki Adalat where he was questioned regarding his controversies and relation with other stars(SRK). He ellaborate and explain each thing with presence of mind. On 14th of March, 2010 he is entered in his 45th year, and as he grows up his sincerity for his work also increases. This is the beauty of his personality. Aamir Khan is a versatile star. He is not only a ggod actor but also a wondeful producer, writer and director. Aamir Khan turned 45: Bollywood super star Aamir Khan turned 45 on March 14, 2010. He has given many big hits to Indian cinema and he has done some different kind of roles over the years. He said he is not celebrating his birthday and he will be meeting Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron in Delhi to discuss about future of the cinema. Sources said that he doesn’t like to celebrate his birthday and one more reason to keep his low profile is that his father Tahir Hussain who was a film maker passed last month. Aamir Khan is in active in bollywood since 1988 and people have seen his many looks over these years in his different movies. He is not only an actor but he is also film producer, director and writer and has also sung some songs as play back singer.

Aamir in early stage of career: Aamir Khan became popular with his movie “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” which was directed by his cousin Mansoor Khan and this movie made him star overnight. He was considered as chocolate hero with his movies and people liked his movies.  This movie fetch him film fare best male debut award and he did not look behind after that success. Next year his two movies released “Raakh” and “Love Love Love”. He was critically acclaimed for his film Raakh and got his first National Award for Special Jury Award. This year again he was nominated for film fare best actor award for his movie “Isi Ka Naam Zindgi”. He was now counted among top bollywood actors and next year, 1992, he gave another big hit “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar” while in 1993 he was nominated for film fare best actor award for “Parampara” and his movie “Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke” was big blockbuster of the year as well. In year 1994, he worked in movie “Andaz Apna Apna”. He was among top stars of Indian cinema and there was no look back for him. In movie Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke he managed well his character being a business man in love.

Aamir Khan’s career and looks from 1995 to 2005: With his most of successful movies from starting of his career he was now well established star in Indian cinema and he was moving forward with every movie. In year 1995, Aamir Khan again got into list of actor to be nominated for best actor award in film fare with three of his movies Baazi, Aatank Hi Aatank and Rangeela while he also gave another blockbuster of year Akele Hum Akele Tum. After success of these movies he did not appear in any movie for next four years and made come back with different in movie Mangal Pandey: The Rising. Mangal Pandey failed on box office but his role was admired.

Aamir Khan 2006 to till now: After making come back in year 2005, he started working hard again and gave again big blockbuster movie “Fanaa” in year 2006 and same year he won film fare critics award for best performance award for his movie Rang De Basanti. Next year he made a completely different movie Taare Zameen Par in which he worked as a young teacher and movie was again a big success. In year 2008, his movie Ghajani became highest gross earner movie and his completely different look with 6 pack body was liked by the audience. This was like a revolution and youth started coping his hair style. Last year he again broke all records of gross earning with his different role again in movie 3 Idiots. He played role of an IIT student of age 20 plus at the age of 44 and he made it perfectly that was nominated for film fare actor award while he failed to made through. Currently he is working in movie Dhobi Ghaat. During his career as actor, producer, director or writer he has given such brilliant movies and has made some of the best movies which were really challenges and even well established film maker don’t want to take risk but he took and made them success. Mallika talks about her movie Hissss: Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat talks about her upcoming movie Hissss. Mallika revealed about the movie that it is a complicated kind of film with special effects and for making such movies it takes time especially in Hollywood. She said any movie can’t be compared with movie Avatar but Hissss will be nice movie with special effects considering Indian movies. As Malika is known for her kiss scenes as well so on asking about kisses in movies she told that snakes swallow instead of kissing and it will be first female empowerment superhero snake horror movie. She felt that most difficult part of movie was tackling with the leeches which were crawling on her whole body in the cold rain forests of Kerala and with it make up ordeal was difficult and it took more than four hours to do the make-up. She was getting dehydrated as she was wearing complete body suit so could not visit loo and can’t drink anything. Mallika’s brother Vikram had thrown a tantrum on the sets during the shot of once scene in which she was wearing skimpy, skin-coloured bikini and actresses defended saying that she is very close to her brother but their thinking about clothes and food are different. Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan had said about Mallika that such revengeful reptile suits for her because of her sharp teeth and blistering sensuality. She said she is big fan of his work and his compliments are always pleasing for her.

Yanni Voices dedicated song to Mallika: Yanni Voices is 14^th album and 5th live DVD which released in year 2009 by Yaani. The album debuted on Billboard’s Top 200 and ranks one on the New Age chart. The Latin album, Yanni Voces, debuted at second position on Billboard’s New Age chart, rank five on the Latin Pop chart, and #13 on the Latin overall chart. It was first studio release of Yanni in six years with collaboration of producer Ric Wake showed vocal artists singing to his classic songs. Yaani dedicated a song “Changes” to Mallika Sherawat during a concert in Los Angeles last year. It seems that Mallika had run into Yanni and Oscar and Grammy winner Ric Wake at an upscale LA restaurant, The Ivy. With this a new friendship relationship started between Yanni and Mallika Sherawat and he picked up mike and said in front of thousands of fans that it is song for Mallika Sherawat. Mallika said that it is really nice of him that he did so for her and it was first time that he ever dedicated any song to someone other than his own mother. He is a precious person with good talent. Mallika Sherawat said that she accompanied him whenever he travels to India and future too she will be with him whenever he will tour to our country. She considers USA as less judgmental and respectful place for an individual and said still one has to be diplomatic. Mallika Sherawat is first Asian actress who was invited on twitter and after that she started tweeting to be in touch with her fans.

About movie Hissss:  Hissss is directed by Jennifer Chambers Lynch and it is independent co-production between USA and India. Movie has Mallika Sherawat, Irfan Khan, Jeff Doucette and Divya Dutta in lead role. Movie is produced by Govind Menon and Vikram Singh while movie has music of Anu Malik. Hissss refers Nagin, the snake woman. Hissss is about a snake woman whose mate is captured by an American hunter and the snake woman decides to take revenge from the hunter for it. Nagin’s role is played by bollywood actress Malika Sherawat while Jeff Doucette plays role of George States. Movie is shot in both languages Hindi as well as English. Movie is mostly shot in forests of Indian south state, Kerala. American 45 year old film director, producer, screenwriter, and special effects creator Robert Kurtzman has given developed the looks for the Malika Sherawat in the movie.

Nagin movies in past and Hissss: There are few movies in bollywood about Nagin before even but Mallika is inspired from Hollywood movie “An American Werewolf In London”. Nagin is ultimate femme fatale - a deadly shape-shifter and sympathetic character as well at the same moment. In India Nagin is depicted as goddess and that can be said as superhero in modern world and that’s what she thinks about her role in the movie. Mallika said she is not afraid of snakes and consider them interesting living thing. In year 1954, first bollywood Nagin movie was directed by Nandlal Jaswantlal with star actors Vyjayanthimala and Pradeep Kumar which was produced by Mahendra Shah while story was written by Bijon Bhattacharya and screenplay by Hamid Dutt.    Vyjayanthimala had played the role of Mala in the movie. Another movie with name “Nagin” was released in year 1976 which was directed and produced by Rajkumar Kohli and it was multi star movie with actors like Sunil Dutt, Reena Roy, Jeetendra, Feroz Khan, Sanjay Khan, Vinod Mehra, Kabir Bedi, Rekha, Yogeeta Bali and Mumtaz in lead role. Movie was big blockbuster of the year and Reena Roy had played role of Nagin in the movie. Same movie was later made in Telugu as Devatalaaraa, Deevinchandi in year 1977 and Jayamalini played role of nagin and movie remade in Tamil in with name “Neeya” with Sripriya playing role of nagin. Sridevi acted as nagin in movie Nagina in year 1986 and Rishi Kapoor was in lead role with her. Nagina was directed by Harmesh Malhotra and story was written by Jagmohan Kapoor and screenplay by Ravi Kapoor. After success of movie its part two was also made with name Nigahen with Sridevi in lead role as nagin. There are also movies on nagin which are from China, Hong Kong, Japan and Indonesia. So movies on nagin are not new in Indian cinema but it is expected that Hissss will have some difference being directed by Jennifer Lynch and other special effects in movie. Mallika thinks it takes long time to develop as perfect hiss but she has tried her best in the movie and there may be sequels of the movie as Sridevi’s nagin based movie had.

Lakme Fashion Week: Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) is organized jointly by India’s number one cosmetic and beauty brand Lakme with IMG Fashion which is global leader in the management and production of fashion weeks and designer fashion events. The aim of Lakme fashion week is to redefine the future of fashion and integrate India into the global fashion world. It is organized twice year and this year summer / Resort 2010 held on 5th to 9th March’10 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. In these five days of fashion week many world popular designer showcased their designs and many celebrities made the walk on the ramp.

First day of Lakme Fashion Week: On first day of fashion week opening show was by Rocky S who presented Queenie for Giantti. It started at 12:00 in noon with exciting and luxurious bridal collections from Rocky S and some stunning jewellery designed by Queenie for Giantti come together in an eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional-classic creativity. The Rocky S collection ‘Bridal Extravagance’ encompasses the true essence of opulence with rich and luxurious lehengas, elegant saris and sherwanis in exquisite georgettes, assorted blends of beautifully textured fabrics. Next showcase was from designer Babita Malkani at 1:30 pm who presented her designed based on theme of Bhutan and her collection was clean, geometric and constructed in weave prints and drapes. Next designer at the fashion week to represent in same show was Riyaz Gangji for brand Libas. Riyaz Ganjgji said before the show that they have specialization in bridal ethnic wear and in this fashion week they will be going on theme of resort wear which is completely different line for them and they are excited to look at the reactions from the audience. Their collection had beautiful and easy to wear garments and female models were seen wearing embroidered evening wear and long flowy dresses while male models were wearing sport linen pants, waistcoats, kurtas and slim pants in stretchy materials etc. After that at 3 pm there was show by Shyamal and Bhumika and their show was inspired with Holi festival. Their collections were having variety of colors like yellow, green, orange, hot pink, blue, gold, fuchsia and purple. Same show was followed by Nikasha who presented an Indian resort wedding wear line themed around the Siuli flower. Nikasha was excited with Indian resort wedding presented in the fashion week by them. After that show was by Krishna Mehta at 5 pm and she said that the concept of resort wear is fun, colourful and thoroughly enjoyable. After a long time she was stick to an all women’s wear line. After that show was followed by international fashion designer Pria Kataaria Puri at 7 pm whose luxury resort collection was titled the The Royal Rajputana inspired by Rajmata Gayatri Devi. At end show was concluded by Sabyasachi.

Day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week: Second day of fashion week was started by Gen Next in which eight new designers presented their designs among which Sabah Khan’s Sabashe was most talked about and it was inspired by slums of Dharavi and her funny and fun collections used a lot of bright colors and balanced them with neutral tones and digital prints. She is final year student of INIFD Jaipur and two other students Sukhwant Buttar and Aastha Sharma from same school also presented their design. Others at the GenNext show were Pooja japoor, Sandeep Sarkar, Siddhartha Upadhayaya, Sougat Paul, Surbhi Chawla and Vipin Batra. Next show was by Little Shilpa which show Life In Technicolor and it was inspired by tribals. She gave a modern twist to this tribal theme with her multi colored and feathered accessories.  She was followed by designer duo Shrivan Naresh and their Aquatic Prism line of beach wear, and 11:11 by CellDSGN. Next show was by Abdul Haldar who presented his trousseau collection which was inspired by fresh flowers and happiness, teamed with diamond bridal jewelry. Digvijay Singh presented eco-friendly line for Bhu:Satta and his show stopper was bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi walking the ramp for the show. He was followed by designer duo Lecoanet Hemant’s eco-friendly collection, marking the green moment at the LFW. The monsoon collection was titled Green. Next show presenter, Anupama Dayal’s collection was inspired by the nomads of the Thar desert and saw a mélange of colors like spice greens, dancing reds, fire pinks and blues. She also introduced her own line of jewelry to match the wraps, kaftans, tunics, skirts and saris in tie-dyed leheriyas, chiffons, silks and georgettes. In same showcase was Nachiket Barve who presented his autumn-winter collection not following the summer resort theme of the season. Last show of second day was of well known Manish Malhotra and it was expected that many bollywood stars will make walk for him but there were hardly any celebrities. His collection had dresses, kurtis with stockings, and salwars in satins, nets, and georgette and fun, wearable clothes had a lot of vibrant colors like pinks, green and yellow.

Day 3 of Lakme Fashion Week: Third day of fashion week started by Amalraj Sengupta with title “Decode” who displayed young preppy line featuring stylish dresses and men’s wear in  colours that had muted shades of grey, black, white, pinstripes and touches of blue. The summer season inspired Harangad Singh’s collection of finely crafted minis and third designer Vijay Bahara presented an interesting collection called “Bonala Nautch”, inspired by the Nautch girls of the north. Next show was from Anand Bhushan who presented his “Rust” collections which were intricately textured with 3D flowers and embroidery detailing.  Neelanjan Ghosh in the same showcase presented on theme of “Colonial Influence on Kolkata Past or Present” and collection was called “Babu, Bibi Aar Keta”. Next designer to present was Asmita Marwa with uniquely titled line “Maya 0° 36’0”S/73° 6’0”E” was for the jet setting woman. Her first group of red and white and black and white linen block checks was turned into maxis, swirling tops, mini with recycled fabric fringe and halter dress with rose knot and large rose appliqués. Swapnil Shinde showed his design after her with inspiration from “Let’s Play a Game – Again” and were drawn from a quirky mix of the Hollywood films that Swapnil visualized as “Transformer meets Alice in Wonderland” two diametrically opposite themes. After him designers Shantanu and Nikhil entered the sports arena with their new S&N label for Adidas Style Essentials. Other designers to present on third day were Malini Ramani and killer presentations by Narendra Kumar.

Freida Pinto- next Bond Babe: No one forgets the movie Slumdog millionaire and the hottest babe of the movie Freida Pinto. She got noticed first time with this movie and at that time no one even could imagine that this actress become world famous and may act in Hollywood movies. Recently the news is she may be signed as next bond babe. Along with her, there are other heroines who may be selected for this role. These are Keira Knightley and Jessica Alba. These three are considered for the role of heroine in the untitled movie Bond 23. According to reliable resources, Freida is the first choice. It’s a good luck of her that in stead of all other fabulous actresses in Hollywood industry like Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel and Beyonce Knowles, she got the opportunity to grab the role.

I am too young to be a Bond girl: But as the problem of Indian actresses, they never stop showing their attitude. Freida said, I am too young to play this role. She said this to play this role, there is need of some mature and more pretty looking girl than me. She feels that the talk of her being a Bond girl is flattering. Other actresses are eager to work in the movie and like to do actions. Jennifer Aniston said she would like to work in such kind of movie and if I get opportunity, definitely I will work sincerely. She also added that it will be a lot of dun to work with Daniel Craig. Well still the selectors have hoped that she will not miss the opportunity and grab the role.

Freida in Hollywood: Freida is continually active in the Hollywood movies. Currently she is working with the Mickey Rourke an Oscar nominated star in the action, epic movie Dawn of war. In the movie, Rourke has been cast as King Hyperion and Freida plays Phaedra, the Greek priestess who helps prevent a cataclysmic war. Along with this she is also active in some other Hollywood movies. For the entire year, she is busy in completing Hollywood movies like Woody Allen’s You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger with Josh Brolin and Naomi Watts is scheduled for a September release. It is also said that for her role in the movie, She got 15 crore rs from Allen. She also plays the title role in Julian Schnabel’s Miral.

About Dawn of war: For her upcoming movie Dawn of the war, she is very excited and happy. She said this is a wonderful movie and I enjoyed a lot while working in this movie. Dawn of war is a mythological movie which is directed by Tarsem Singh. The movie is produced by using advanced cinematography techniques. The movie is jointly produced by Ryan Kavanaugh, Gianni Nunnari, Craig J. Flores, and Tucker Tooley. The concept and idea of the movie is given by Vlas Parlapanides and Charley Parlapanides. About Slumdog Millionaire: It was a big hit movie around the world who grabbed many Oscar awards in its bag. The entire tem of the movie worked so hard to make it a big hit. The director of the movie was Danny Boyle and the story line of the movie was given by Simon Beaufoy. It was based on the famous Novel written by Vikas Swarup. Dev Patel and Freida Pinto was in main lead and along with them there were Madhur Mittal, Anil Kapoor, Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, Tanay Chheda, Rubina Ali, Tanvi Ganesh Lonkar, Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, Ashutosh Lobo Gajiwala also played important part in the movie. The music of the movie is given by India’s one of finest composers A. R. Rehman. The editing of the movie is done by Chris Dickens and the studio used is Celador Films and Film 4. The movie was superb and the concept of the movie was liked by the audience. People gave a great response to the movie. Ranbir and Deepika are trying to patch up: Young bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had broken up their relations some time back after one year of relation but now seems they want to be in company of each other again. They had finished their relationship few months back which was a hot issue of talk for media and seen away from each other for long time. Ranbir Kapoor has been away in United States of America for shoot of his upcoming movie “Anjaana Anjaani” which is directed by Siddharth Anand and he is working lead stars like Priyanka Chopra and Zayed Khan. May be he was missing Deepika Padukone for and been crying for the ending up relationship with her. On the other hand Deepika Padukone has been laughing off the rumors about the romantic affairs with stars like Farhan Akhtar or Shaid Kapoor. Deepika and Ranbir were far away that’s why had no chance to meet personally so they were busy in sending messages on mobile. May be those SMS (Short Message Service) have resolved their problems or misunderstanding which they had and will be back soon as Ranbir Kapoor’s message ask to forgive him and want to be back to Deepika Padukone. Both had ended their relations when Ranbir Kapoor was working with Katrina Kaif in movie “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani”. Deepika felt unsecure about Ranbir’s closeness with Katrina and she asked an agent to spy on him and after finding them in close relation she decided to break up. Salman Khan hospitalized: Bollywood actor Salman Khan was hospitalized after he suffered suffocation during a shoot of fire scene. He was shooting in Satara district for his brother Arbaz Khan’s debut production movie “Dabang”. In the scene Salman was required to shoot in close proximity with fire. Everyone insisted to take it in single shot but Slaman took several takes before the scene recorded and ended up breathless because of the smoke. He was taken to nearby hospital after the scene and proper treatment was given. Doctor advised him to do rest for next couple of days as well but Salman was not interested in disturbing the schedule of the movie and went for the shoot very next day which surprised the production unit. The scene was very difficult one with fire that’s why the actor like Salman Khan took so many takes for that scene and not caring much about his health. Fans tried to enter the hospital as well and when actor’s body guards did not allow them inside and in protest crowd pelted stones at the hospital. Police controlled the crowed and Wai police said that situation is in control.

Upcoming movies of Salman Khan: Salman Khan is working many movies which are expected to release this year. One of his movies “Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai” which is directed and produced by Ravi Chopra with producer B R Chopra is expected to release on April 2, 2010. In movie along with Salman Khan other stars in lead role are Lara Dutta, Govinda, Tabu, Boman Irani and Rajpal Yadav. Movie has music of Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa while cinematography is done by Barun Mukherjee. Distribution rights of the film are given to B R Films. Movie was already in discussion as it was first time when Hollywood company took bollywood filmmakers in court for the plagiarism. Director of movie had received the legal notice last year from 20th Century Fox with charge that the movie blatantly plagiarized the 1992 comedy My Cousin Vinny. In May month of last year director denied in court and court had ordered to delay the film release. He is working in movie “Dabang” which is directed by Abhinav Kashyap and it is first production of his brother Arbaz Khan. Along with Salman Khan movie has stars like Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood, Mahi Gill, Vinod Khanna, Dimple Kapadia, Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Tinu Anand, Mahesh Manjrekar and Sonakshi Sinha. Sonakshi Sinha is doing debut with this movie. Music director are well known Sajid and Wajid while cinematography is done by Mahesh Limaye. Award won by Salman Khan: Salman Khan is contributing to Indian film industry from more than two decades but not enough lucky in winning awards. He has so far won two film fare awards one which was film fare best male debut award for his movie “Maine Pyar Kiya” in year 1990 and another is film fare best supporting actor award for supporting role big bollywood hit “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”.  He has also got one of the highest honors for Indian, Rajiv Gandhi Award for his outstanding achievement in field of entertainment. How Much Moolah did MNIK really Rake In? Shahrukh Khan’s most ambitious film ‘My Name Is Khan’ was expected to beat Aamir Khan’s super hit  film ‘Three Idiots’ and it happened also in the opening of the film also that it opened very well and showed very good results. But, now as per the review or analysis of the trade reports it is been suggested that Shahrukh Khan’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ is falling way behind the Aamir Khan’s super hit ‘3-Idiot’s which is directed by the most talented and famous director  Raj Kumar Hirani flick in the moolah race. Actually, some of the people believe that Shahrukh Khan has taken credit of his dispute with Shiv Sena for the non-screening of the film MNIK in Mumbai, in fact in whole Maharashtra even. It helped Shahrukh Khan to generate the business in all over the world and getting good marketing and promotion benefits through the Shiv Sena issues. Through the same the film got 100 percent opening all over the world and generated approximately Rs.150 crore businesses from India and worldwide markets in its first 10 days of release. But, as per the trade reports, although the opening of ‘My Name Is Khan’ was very impressive but the results or the figures dropped down considerably in the week days and the drop was around 50 percent, which is a drastic down fall of the film.

Weak Areas of “My Name Is Khan’ : The film ‘My Name Is Khan’ was expected to be the more result oriented comparatively but showed not very positive results in monetary means. Although it is a Karan Johar’s directed film still failed to give 100 percent results because of its weak music and second its serious story or subject. Today people are more interested to watch comedy rather than a serious dry film which has no universal appeal unlike a typical Shahrukh Khan’s film. Whereas, on the other hand, Raj Kumar Hirani’s ‘3 – Idiots’ proved to be more business making film and made Rs.240 crore in its 10 days of release, which really shows that MNIK does not stand anywhere close to that figure. ‘My Name Is Khan’ is a serious and dry film whereas 3-Idiots is a complete comedy and lesson giving film and people want to watch it more than once, whereas, MNIK can be seen once only. It is also believed that Shiv-Sena Issue has also proved to be a blessing for the Shahrukh Khan because it gained the sympathy of foreign markets, as 40 percent of the film income so far has come from these foreign territories. The film MNIK has failed to show good results in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar the heartland states, whereas these states got heavy muslim audience and expected to have good support. Single screens showed very poor results whereas multiplexies have also shown 40 percent drop down in these areas in the second week of the release of the film. It showed that inspite of good publicity approaches and other sena issues even the film MNIK has not shown 100 percent results which was actually expected by every one especially by the big fans of Shahrukh Khan.

Box Office status of ‘My Name Is Khan’: After the study of the reports we got some box office figures of MNIK from the worldwide surveys after the first 10 days of its release. First of all we should take our own country- India, where the film did very well we must say exceptionally well in big town multiplexes but not in single screens. The business of Rs.90 crore was done by the film in own country. The film MNIK proved to be the most successful box-office opener in United Kingdom- Great Britain and earned Rs.15 crore. Similarly, in United States MNIK has become the biggest grossing Hindi Film in North America in the first week and earned Rs.15 crore again. In Australia, by doing the business of Rs.3.5 crore the film was found acceptance among Indians as well as non-Indians. The most expected territory was the Middle East where the best results were expected by the Shahrukh’s pro-Muslim story lined film and which got the business of Rs.10.5 crores also. Similarly Singapore did the business of Rs.1.5 crore and Singapore for Rs.1.75 crore.

Aishwarya back in public eye: Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made an appearance in public in an award ceremony on last Friday. There were some rumors that she is having ill health and by giving appearance she gave rest to all the rumors made about her health. She was present in pink sari in the function with her mother Vrinda Rai. She was having high fever and throat infection due to which she had returned back from the shooting of movie “Action Replayy”. She was ill due to which whole Bachchan family was worried about her and caring for her. Abhishek Bachchan left the shooting of movie “Crooked” in between because of bad health of his wife and came back to home. There were rumors about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan that she has got tuberculosis in her stomach due to which she can’t give birth at present to child. Due to such printed news by media Bachchan family had also boycotted the film fare award ceremony in which Aishwarya Rai to perform as well but because of such slanderous news about her made her back out and decided to be with her family. Aishwarya recovered very speedily but she was looking little more slim than ever and also her colour was pale than usual looks.

Big B kept fans updated: Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan both have a large number of fans. Amitabh Bachchan was keeping the fans up to date about the health of his daughter in law through his blog. Fans were always eager to know to know that how Aishwarya is doing and when she will be back in public. Amitabh Bachchan had taken the media news seriously and said that no one has right to make such rumors about the lady of his family and he asked them to apologize. Abhishek Bachchan was also with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan during hard time and said that all the news by media are rubbish and the ladies of his home are off limits and no one should write any kind of baseless rumours about them. He was also with his family to boycott of film fare award. Amitabh Bachchan was continuously writing in his blog about the health and the family. As Aishwarya improved from her ill health Big B updated the information in his blog that she has decidedly improved on her conditions while husband of Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan tweeted that Aishwarya is much feeling much better with her health and he would like to think that it is all the tender loving care which made her recover speedily with entire family pampering her and Aishwarya should not have any complaints from family. Bachchan family took care of Aishwarya Rai well and was with her leaving their other works when she needed them. Bollywood actress Preity Zinta also defended Bachchan family saying that is their personal life and no one should write about it.

Aishwarya missed India Today Woman Summit: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was a keynote speaker as well as award recipient in the India Today Women Summit but because of bad health she missed the event and her husband Abhishek Bachchan received the award on the behalf of Aishwarya Rai. She had high fever and severe throat infection due to which she was not able to be there but the organizer of the event wanted someone to take the award on her behalf due to their polite request Abhishek attended the award ceremony to fill the place of his wife. Amitabh Bachchan had written in his blog that Aishwarya had a restful day and there seems to be a slight improvement in her condition. The swelling inside the mouth below the tonsil is not tonsillitis as was presumed. It is something else and that is worrying. When you cannot swallow water even, it is more worrying. But today the antibiotics seem to be working and there is some relief. The infection abates. The rash and swelling on the face reduces. She has been able to take in some liquids, but her speech is still labored. Due to such condition of her health she had decided not to attend the award ceremony.

Hrithik gets Hollywood offers: Bollywoood actor Hrithik Roshan is getting offers from various Hollywood directors after working with Hollywood actress Barbara Mori. He is working for movie “Kites” with Barbara Mori who is a Mexican actress and Hrithik has stimulated with major Hollywood interest after his polite acting and exciting chemistry with Barbara Mori in his upcoming movie. Sources said that trailers and promos of the movie “Kites” have made interest of Hollywood directors in Indian actors and they want to sign Hrithik in near future for their movies. Rakesh Roshan was not interested to spread the news about it saying that it is too early to make any comment on it. His official spokesperson confirmed that Hrithik is getting many offers from big Hollywood directors. Many big Hollywood directors are willing to work with him after looking at his on screen chemistry with Barbara Mori in trailers of movie “Kites”.

About the movie, Kites: Kites is among most awaited bollywood movie which is written and directed by Anurag Basu and produced by well known Rakesh Roshan. It was grand party by the business tycoon and Shah Rukh Khan said expressing his happiness that industrialists like Anil Ambani has entered into the film industry and they have well structured way of making the film from the aspects of production. Reliance Big Pictures is doing well and SRK was surprised to see that how they are doing so many things which he was not aware of before. He was thinking that they are just doing the distribution and producing work but they are doing a lot of back end work and lot of international stuff which is required for the movie. He said it is admirable work done by them which they can have a well structured way of making the movie from top to end and from the various aspects of the production.

Amitabh Bachchan had won best actor award in the film fare function for his December 2009 released movie “Paa” and he was not present there and Vidhya Balan who won best actress award for the same movie received the award on behalf of Big B.
