Aamir To Make A Flick On Gandhi

Aamir Khan- A unique personality: Aamir Khan needs no introduction. He is famous because of his unique style and theory. One of the things or which he is known to everybody is that he does a single movie in a year. The reason is, he believes in quality rather than quantity and no doubt all of his movies have something different and in almost every movie, he gives a new lesson to the world. Another quality is he always try to do some experiments in his life. Earlier he made movies about those historical warriors that did a great job, but few people knew this. In his movies like Mangal Panday and Lagaan, he put light on such caharacters and now people know who were bhuvan and Pandey? Though he is a superb and famous celebrity, yet he strictly follows rules and regulations. He is very disciplined in his life. According to his nephew( Imran Khan) unlike all other celebrities, he never use black mirrors for his cars as it is against the rule and because of this he has suffered many times. But still he is stick to his principles. I like my mamu in this manner and respect him.
Aamir’s favorite time pass: Aamir is a great lover of reading books. In his free time, he is always seen with a book in his hand especially in bedtime. He used to read books while at bed. What kind of book is he like to read? This curosity take us to his bed time and we found that he is reading books of great personalities of India especially Mahatma Gandhi. You will never find him to read Chetan Bhagat’s Five Point on which 3 Idiots is based. He always browses books based on life of Gandhi. Earlier in month of January, he is caught by reading book Mohandas: A true story of a man His People and An Empire written by Rajmohan Gandhi’s. In that book he came to know about hthe spiritual maariage of Mahatma Gandhi with Sarala devi(niece of Rabindranath Tagore). After that he read out “India After Gandhi”, a book written by Bangalore based historian Ramachandra Guha. At present he is turning the pages of Arthur Herman’s Gandhi & Churchill: The Epic Rivalry That Destroyed An Empire and Forged Our Age. After reading the book, he was surprised that how bothare similar in some manners. Hey, don;t be confused we are not promoting that read books while on the bed. However, tell you about Aamir’s philopshy on this account. Well sources also said that he is reading all these books because his next project is on Gandhi. Well time will tell whether it is a rumor or fact.
Aamir Khan does not believe in awards: Well now if we are talking about Aamir Khan, then how can i forget this point that he is not at all beleive in any of awards. According to him, these awards does not mean it in reality. And so we never see him in any of award functions. He said the real award is given by audience and he is happy that public rewarded him with their love. He said for me that is the only award and that matters for me. He said my purpose is to give the best and something that is useful for the public with entertainment. No doubt, he keeps his promise Taarein Zameen Par and 3 Idiots are few examples. Both movies have unique concept which never explored by anyone.
Aamir Khan- The real Hero: With his motivating movies, he becomes the actual hero for the every generation. People learn from his movies and follows hi message in their lives. Recently, he was appeared in Janta Ki Adalat where he was questioned regarding his controversies and relation with other stars(SRK). He ellaborate and explain each thing with presence of mind. On 14th of March, 2010 he is entered in his 45th year, and as he grows up his sincerity for his work also increases. This is the beauty of his personality. Aamir Khan is a versatile star. He is not only a ggod actor but also a wondeful producer, writer and director. He has also sung songs for few movies like Ati Kya Khanadla etc. Aamir Khan Started his acting career in the year 1973 as child artist with teh movie Yaado Ki Baaraat and then in 1988 QSQT for which he also won male debut award and after that lots of movies. As a playback singer, he sang songs for the movies Ghulam, Mela, Mangal Pandey, Rang De BAsanti Fanaa and Taare Zammen Par. As a producer he produced Laggan, Taare Zammen Par, Jaane Tu Ya Jane Na, etc. As an Writer/Director he did QSQT( story writer), Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke(screen writer), and Taare Zameen Par (Like Stars On Earth) (Director).
With all these he is honored many times by Indian Governemnt for his great achievement:
In 2001, he was named “Man of the Year” by Bombay Times.
In 2003, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award from the Government of India.
In 2003, TIME magazine featured him in its list of Bollywood’s Brightest Stars.
In April 2008, he received a “Special Award” from Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Smruti Pratisthan for his exceptional services to Indian cinema.
In January 2009, he received “Indian of The Year in Cinema” Award by NDTV
In January 2009, he received the “Indian of the Year in Entertainment” Award from CNN-IBN.
In February 2009, he was among the 10 recipients of the IIFA-FICCI Frames Awards for the “Most Powerful Entertainers of the Decade”.
In May 2009, he received “Raj Kapoor Smriti Vishesh Gaurav Puraskar” by the Government of Maharastra for outstanding contribution to the Indian cinema.
In January 2010, he was selected for the Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian honour from the Government of India.
