Aishwarya Rai vs. Sushmita Sen: Two former Miss World and Miss Universe once again come face to face. It is not happened first time. Earlier there were many cases in which two Miss world or Miss Universe came in front of each other either because of their personal matters or professional. Now this time it is between Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen. It is said that Sushmita has played a jig to Farah Khan to edge out Aishwarya Rai and tuned her for the movie. Before this Farah Khan was thought about Aishwarya Rai to dance for the song apni to jaise taise’ (which is copied from the movie ‘Laawaris’) for her tuned movie ‘Houseful’.

Farah Khan and Sajid Nadiawala slammed the report: The producer Sajid Nadiawala and director Farah Khan of the movie refused to accept the fact that they replaced Sushmita Sen with Aishwarya Rai. They said Sushmita Sen was their maiden choice. Produce Sajid Nadiawala also told the media that the song will be choreographed by Farah Khan on Akshay Kumar, Ritesih Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal and Sushmita Sen. He also added that Farah Khan has wonderful chemistry with Sushmita Sen which has been earlier seen in their movie ‘Main Hoo Na’. He also said that like that I am hopeful that this song will also provide sensuality and sexuality which i need for the movie. He said that one reason of choosing Sushmita Sen is that he has seen the work of Sushmita Sen with Farah Khan and it was fabulous. About movie, he said it will be shot on huge set in Mumbai and the Aki Narula work for Sushmita Sen is fantastic. He said he could not stop him to see her when he saw Sushmita Sen for the song. She is looking as usual so stunning and beautiful that no one resist himself to see her.

About Sushmita Sen: Sushmita Sen had won the crown of Miss Universe in the year 1994 and after that started her career as an actress in 1996 with the movie Dastak. The movie was not a big hit but she get noticed by the directors and producers and later she performed in many big banner movies. No doubt she is talented and because of her talent she got many women-oriented movies. In these days, her career is not so smooth but still she is working in many good movies. She is not only a good actress, but also a good person and socialized. She adopted a girl in the year 2000 and named her Renee. She takes care for her and loves her. Renee is living with her. Thereafter in Jan, 2010 she adopted another three month old girl and named her Alisah. She said girls are the most beautiful person in the world and prove them far better than boys in every field, still people don’t like baby girl. Ameesha Patel splits with lover Kanav Puri: The hottie and stunning actress of bollywood- Ameesha patel is again in rumours that she once again has added Single with her name. as once again it is in news that she has a split with her boy friend Kanav Puri to whom she had kept waiting a long and now at last she has decided to break her relationship with Kanav Puri her recent boy friend. It was very much expected to hear the news of their marriage very soon, but after hearing the split of their relationship every hope of her marriage in future has gone off. As per the news it has been decided by Amisha Patel to rejoin her family and to be stayed with them and again to concentrate on the career. Similarly, her boy-friend Kanav Puri was also fed-up with Ameesha Patel’s attitude and tactics and gets decided to get rid of the unnamed relationship with her. Ameesha is now more interested to focus on her career and not to plan her marriage even anytime soon. Ameesha Patel, a bright student:  Ameesha was born on 9^th of June 1976, in Breach candy hospital in Bombay. She is the daughter of father Amit Patel and Mother Asha Patel, sister of Ashmit Patel and the granddaughter of the famous lawyer-politician Barrister Rajni Patel who was the Congress Pradesh Committee President of Bombay. She is a trained  Bharatnatyam dancer since the age of 5 only. She was a very bright student of her school and remained head girl for the academic year 1992-1993. She had completed her schooling from the Cathedral and John Connon High School, Mumbai. Ameesha has always been an achiever. She always remained the determinent student as in class six she told her mother that she had a dream to become the head girl of the school, but her mother didn’t take it seriously, but, she proved it by becoming Head girl in class 12 in 1992-93. She had also bagged  a Gold Medal in  Economics from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. Ameesha started her career as an economic Analyst at Khandwala Securities Limited after completion of her graduation.

Ameesha’s Theatre and Commercials : Although Ameesha had started her career as Economic Analytst, but  her filmi career started with Satyadev Dubey’s Theatre group joining and acting in several plays which includes even Urdu language plays also, titled: Neelam in 1999, which was written by Tanveer Khan. Her parents were very infact are very conservative, but she made possible any how to take permission for the acting in palys and commercials. At  the same time to take the benefits of permission of parents, she jumped into the modelling and commercials also and did well known Indian brands commercials like: Bajaj Sevashram, Fair and Lovely, Cadburys, Jai Lime, Fem, Lux and so many others.

Patel’s Filmy Debut :  Ameesha Patel’s film debut was ‘Kaho Na Pyar Hai’, her father’s  schoolmate’s  (Rakesh Roshan) Film. She acted in the film against Hrithik Roshan, in 2000. She had been offered for the same film when she had just completed her graduation but she refused to do as she wanted to continue her education in USA. Kareena Kapoor was selected for the role but lateron she had to leave the project for some reasons and luckily she again had been offered a role during a family Lunch. She had given her unforgettable performance in Gaddar: Ek Prem Katha in 2001 and won critical praise for her performance also became one of the biggest hits of Hindi Cinema. This film made her to earn a Filmfare Special Performance Award also. She has also given very good films like- Ankhahee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Humraaz, Aap Mujhe Ache Lagne Lage, Yeh Hai Jalwa and so on.

 

Gul Panag’s career mantra-the sensible Gul:  Gul Panag is one of those actresses of bollywood who follow their own criteria’s and layouts and love to do very few projects but can be remembered for the long time for their incredible performances. As per Gul Panag it is not important that how bigger is the Banner of the film or how big is the film’s budget, but its more important that what is the role and how important is that. As per her views sometimes even the big Names or budgeted films also remained un-successful to attract or gather the more crowd of audience, whereas some times low budgeted and ordinary production group may give good and long remembering films and projects. Gul Panag’s Childhood and schooling:  Gul Panag was born on 3^rd of January 1979 in Chandigarh. She is a former beauty queen who competed in the Miss Universe pageant. She started her education in Sangrur in Punjab. As her father was in Indian Army she had to move to the different places across India and abroad so as a result she studied in 14 schools including Kendriya Vidyalayas (Chandigarh, Leh, Mhow and Wellington in Tamil Nadu).She did her Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Punjab University, Patiala, Punjab and Masters Degree in Political Science from Punjab University, Chandigarh again. During her schooling only she was very much interested in sports and public speaking. She also had won the several state and national level debate competitions which includes two gold medals at the prestigious Annual National Inter University Debate Competition.

Gul Panag’s winning different crowns and titles: Gul Panag being a challenger had to work very hard but reached the destinations very smoothly with her good patience and talented nature. Gul had won the title of Miss India in the year of 1999 and also earned a crown of Miss Beautiful Smile at the same pageant. In the Contest of Miss Universe 1999, she couldn’t win the top rank but she was even then luckier as she was ranked among the Top ten contestants. She had won the appraisal of her strong role of Zeenat Fatima in Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘DOR’, in the year of 2006. She is also one of the very talented actress like; Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and other hit actresses. Her next very popular film ‘ Manornama Six Feet under, was so successful that it was inspired by Chinatown film and earned very good public reviews. Katrina’s Feline Thrill: Bollywood stars are always active to take some new experiments either in their roles or characters or in any other activity. They always like to do something unique and different. Now in the race of this one more Bollywood star has become lime lighted. This is none other than the most beautiful and demanding girl Katrina Kaif. She has decided to adopt a leopard in coming days. The leopard is spotted in a village near Bhopal by the team. They named her Catreena because according to them she is so beautiful and silky like Katrina. The leopard was rescued from the National park: Van Vihar and the team was searching for her and found her in a village.

Katrina desires to adopt her: When Katrina Kaif heard about this, she get excited and show her desire to adopt that leopard. She made inquiry for this from the Van Vihar staff and express her interest to adopt Catreena. Katrina said she is so delighted to adopt that leopard. The leopard is currently living in Van Vihar zoo and to adopt her Katrina has to complete some formalities. And not only this, she has to pay Rs 50,000 annually. Although Katrina said she has no problem and she is ready to pay for this much amount for that sweet leopard. But it is not that much easy as she expected. She has to take care of everything about Leopard and also she never neglects her needs and requirements.

 

About Leopard: The leopard is an active and quite animal. She is smaller than other members of the Panthera genus but still able to attack on a massive skull. She used powerful jaw muscles for attack. With comparison to cat, it has long body and short legs. The length of body and head is between 165 and 125 cm (65 and 49 in) respectively. The tail of the Leopard reaches upto 60 to 110 cm (24 to 43 in). The shoulder height of Leopard is 45 to 80 cm (18 to 31 in). Male Leoprad is 30% larger than female Leopard weighing 37 to 91 kg (82 to 200 lb) compared to 28 to 60 kg (62 to 130 lb) for females. Sometimes these Leopards be confused with two other large spotted cats, the cheetah and the jaguar but they are not similar. Each has its own pattern like cheetah has simple spots, evenly spread; the jaguar has small spots inside the polygonal rosettes; while the leopard normally has rounder, smaller rosettes than those of the jaguar. The leopard is larger and much more muscular than the cheetah, but little bit smaller than the jaguar.

About Katrina: Katrina Kaif is considered as the most demanding actress in the year 2009 and is one of the talented actresses. She proves herself in many movies with her variations in different roles. She started her career at the age of fourteen when she was first approached by an agent for modeling. She started her career in the modeling company in London. Then there she get discovered by London based filmmaker Kaizad Gustad and got a small role in the movie Boom which was released in 2003. Case for plagiarism against Veer: Salman Khan starred movie “Veer” released on January 22, 2010 and the very next day Gurgaon based writer Pavan Chaudhary filed case in Delhi High Court claiming that story is taken from his book Trilogy of Wisdom. He has filed a Rs. 20 lakh suit againt Salman Khan, Director Anil Sharma and producer Vijay Kumar Gilani and suit calls for a halt of film’s screening as well. According to Salman Khan, he had written this story 20 years back and it was his dream project. Delhi High Court has issued the notices to Salman Khan, director and producer of film after filing the case against them by Pavan Chaudhary and Justice V.K. Shali has asked them to file the reply by February 4. According to Pavan Chaudhary “India should not be a sone ki chidiya but a baaz” is conceptualized from his book. Applicant said that the he is the author, first owner, true originator and lawful proprietor of this concept with is mentioned in “Safalta ki Triveni: Chanakya Ka Rajnitik Gyan”, a Hindi translated version of his book “Trilogy of Wisdom” and no one is supposed to use his concept without his permission being all copyright with him only.

Protest in Jaipur against Veer: Bollywood movie “Veer” has faced protests in Jaipur alleging that the movie has some twisted facts which hurt the sentiments of the Rajput community. In the movie Zarine Khan was crowned as princess being his father was alive which is against the Rajput traditions. B.S. Shekawat a member executive of the committee told that they are protesting as some facts shown in movie are totally against their traditions and those scenes to be removed from the movie as it hurts their sentiments. He said if director will fail to remove those scenes then there will be more protests. He said how crowning ceremony can take place while father is alive and especially for girls. This does not make any sense and completely against their traditions. Members of Rajput community Shri Rajpur Karni Sena gathered at two theaters in city in morning and tried to stop the screening. Protestors became violent and broken glass panes of Trinton Mall in Jhotwara and Vaibhav complex in Vaishali Nagar. Police has arrested 20 members of the community and some protestors got minor injuries during police baton charges.

About movie Veer: Veer is bollywood movie directed by Anil Sharma and produced by Vijay Galani and Sunil A. Lulla. Screenplay is written by bollywood star Salman Khan and Shailesh Verma. Salman Khan, Zarine Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Sohail Khan and Jackie Shroff are in leading role in the movie and movie is distributed by Eros International. Music for the movie is composed by Sajid-Wajid while lyrics are written by Oscar-winning lyricist Gulzar and music was released on 17 December 2009. Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder Singh, Neuman Pinto, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Suzanne D’Mello, Rekha Bhardwaj, Sharib Sabri, Toshi Sabri, Shabaab Sabri, Sunidhi Chauhan, Roop Kumar Rathod and Shreya Ghoshal have sung the various songs for the movie. Movie released on January 22, 2010 and movie had budget of 40 crore. The film was released 1,300 prints and in digital cinemas all over India and a further 236 prints overseas. It is first movie for the Zarine Khan who was a model and her dream came true with this movie to become a bollywood actress. She is compared for her looks to bollywood star actress Katrina Kaif even but she dies it and said that if she will be able to get the half success as much Katrina has got she will be very happy with her life. Story of movie is about a brave warrior as well as a love story. Salman Khan playing role of a brave Pindari warrior Veer who wants to throw out the British rule and to look like Veer he has worked hard with his physical trainer and gained a lot of weight. Mithun Chakraborty is playing role of father of Veer, Prithvi Singh while Sohail Khan is casted as brother of Veer, Punay. The actress is Zarine Khan who is playing role of Princess Yashodhara has gained about 8 kg weight to look like princess and her father’s role is played by Jackie Shroff who is king of Madhavgarh.

Story of Movie and reviews: Movie has a plot of time when India was ruled by British people and they were using their divide and rule policy in India. Most of Indian kings and nawabs fallen into their schemes assigning their kingdom to the foreigners while the barve Pindari were strongly against British rule and decided to fight till their last breath instead of giving away their kingdom to foreigners. Veer is bravest and strongest among Pindaris and he want to throw out the British Empire from Madhavgarh and he has to also fight with king of Madhavgarh as well and some of his own tribe jealous people. He falls in love with princess of Madhavgarh, Yashodhara while her father is his sworn enemy. Veer had to take revenge from Madhavgarh king for the dishonor of his father as he had betrayed the Pindari leading to a massacre of 1500 men in past. Salman meets his dream girl in London and they study in same college. They fall in love with each other. Veer slaughters more than a dozen people in the hostel campus and escapes from London with badly injured his brother Punay. Movie is getting mixed kind of review from different places and till date movie has got gross revenue of Rs 79 crore. Movie earned about Rs 33 crore in its very first week in India according to Eros spokesman. Movie has melodious music which people liked and Salman Khan has shown magic of his acting as well. He is appreciated for his acting but he is also alleged for plagiarism of story. He has given many big hits to bollywood so always expectations are always high from him and he has shown his experience in movie and looks like a true warrior. 

Ranbir, Katrina will win National Awards for “Rajneeti”:    Prakash Jha, the very talented and successful director of bollywood. , is very busy now-a-days in his forth coming project ‘Rajneeti’. He has casted very talented and National Award winning actors like: Arjun Rampal, Naseeruddin Shah, Nana Patekar, Manoj Vajpai and Ajay devgan. Along with these national award winners, today’s most demanding stars – Ranbeer Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are also the main stars of the film. The film which includes such a prestigious and big star casting with a strong story and platform, the director of the film must be having stong belief of earning National Award and world record. Prakash Jha- The talented director: Prakash Jha is the Indian film producer-director and screenwriter who is also famous and well known for his political and socio-political films like: Damul in 1984, Mrityudand in 1997 and Gangaajal in 2003. He has also produced the National Film Award winning documentaries like: Face After Storm made in 1984 and Sonal in 2002. He is also running his production company as ‘Prakash Jha Productions. He made his first documentary in 1975 as ‘Under the Blue’ and for next 8 continuous years he kept on making the documentaries only. But his debut as a feature film as a director was ‘Hip Hip Hurray in 1983, which was scripted by Gulzar and it includes the stars- Raj Kiran and Deepti Naval as lead characters. He received the National Film Award for Best Film and the Film fare Critics Award for Best Movies in 1985, for Damul. He made four TV serials also like 13 part Classical dances from India and the famous comedy serial Mungerilal ke haseen sapne. Apart from his filmy career, Prakash Jha fought elections for Lok Sabha but, he lost the same from his native Champaran in 2004. He again tried and lost election to the Lok Sabha in 2009 as Lok Janashakti Party candidate from west Champaran. Basically, Prakash Jha is from west Champaran Bihar and did his schooling from Sainik School Tilaya, Koderma district and Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand and joined Ramjas College, Delhi University to do B.Sc (Hons) in Physics. As his interest was in painting so he left the studies and went to Bombay to become a painter and joined the J.J school of Arts. Later in 1973, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune to do a course in editing. He was married to the famous film star, Deepti Naval.  In 1986, he directed, Parinati, based on the story of Vijaydan Detha. But, in 1989, he aparted himself from the films and went back to Bihar for four years and formed two organizations, one Anubhooti, through this organization the young people from the region were trained in film making and the another organization was Samvedan in Champaran which promotes the small and micro industries. His movies are mostly based on Bihar and the issues and lifestyle of Bihar people, like the movies –Mrityudand and Gangajal these two movies are based on these concepts. For these hit movies he starred the top actors and actresses like Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgan, Jacky Shroff, Juhi Chawla and Shabaha Azmi. Once again he gave a hit film-Apaharan in 2005 with the hit stars Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu. This film made him to win the Fimfare Best Dialogue Award in 2006.

‘Rajneeti’ the upcoming project of Prakash Jha: Rajneeti is an upcoming multi-starrer film of director Prakash Jha. This movie is expected in May, 2010. This film is based on the political issues. The film includes very big starring like: Ranbir Kapoor, Katreena Kaif, Manoj Vajpai, Nassirrddin Shah, Arjun Rampal and Ajay Devgan. Its totally comedy film and Sharman along with his two co-idiots performed very well as well as enjoyed the character given to him in the film. He shared a lot of special moments and had a great time working on the film with his co-stars. He told that the special experience he had partied last on the sets of ‘Rang de Basanti’ but continued it on the sets of ‘3 Idiots’ again.

3 -Idiots a Comedy Drama:  The super duper hit film ‘3 Idiots’ is being liked by every age group of audience because of its very strong screen play and comic platforms. The story is really very interesting and lesson giving also. The great comedy film is being directed by Raj Kumar Hirani, produced by Vidhu vinod Chopra and screen play by Abhijat Joshi. It is a story of three engineering students R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Aamir Khan. These friends had shared a room and created lots of comedy scenes and made the film all time favorite. Boman’s strong comedy and dialogues also created an interesting drama. This film is going to be remade in Tamil and Telegu. The director Raj Kumar Hirani takes the definition of entertainment into directions of social comment without assuming that he knows best.

Sharman Joshi – Carrier and background:  Sharman Joshi belongs to a Gujrati Brahmin family. His family holds a strong and graceful career in Gujarati Theater. Sharman is married to Prerna Chopra, the daughter of very talented and famous actor Prem Chopra. He made his film debut in art film God Mother in 1999. His next film as well as a big commercial hit was ‘style’ in 2001, which was also a successful comedy drama. It was a low budget film produced by N Chandra involving a crew of new comers. The success of ‘style’ was again followed by ‘Xcuse Me’ in 2003. Similarly he gave another comedy hit in 2005, ‘Shaadi No.1’. But the success of ‘Rang De Basanti’ brought the favorable re-views for him. He has performed not only comic but as well as his emotional part also. Another comic success of Sharman was Golmaal. Max Stardust Awards 2010: One more sensational occasion for Bollywood industry was took place in Mumbai at Bandra Kurla complex. Here I am talking about the Max stardust awards 2010. Many famous personalities of Bollywood industry were getting awarded in this award ceremony. Various artists like Asin, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya, Preity Zinta, Akshay Kumar, Rekha, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Payal Rohatgi, Nisha Kothari, Kangana Ranaut, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Jhanavi(Sridevi’s Daughter), GulPanag, Celina Jaitley, Twinkle Khanna and many more were Present in Stardust awards 2010. The glamorous and sparkling award ceremony saw a host of Bollywood stars performing, giving and receiving awards and hosting. This year the stardust awards were full of surprises. Lots of surprises were there in the ceremony. Most of the things happened in the ceremony was unpredictable like Chintuji was awarded as best film. It surprized the people present there. Preity Zinta bagged best actress award for her performance in the movie Videsh and guess who will be the star of the year in male category? Yes, who else except him. One more time he grabbed the star of the year male award in his bag. No doubt, I am talking about the fabulous, most talented and great star Amitabh Bachchan. He received the award for his fantastic performance in the movie Paa while star of the year female award was bagged by Kareena Kapoor for ‘Kurbaan’ and ‘3 Idiots.

Winners of Max Stardust Awards 2010: Different artist of Bollywood industry was awarded according to their contribution in the film industry for the entire year. There were various categories defined in this award function. The award for Superstar of Tomorrow’ category of male went to Ranbir Kapoor for his performances in ‘Wake up Sid’ and “Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani”. The breakthrough performance male award was given to Abhimanyu Singh for hismovie Gulal and Shahana Goswami took away the award for the same category Female for her performance in Firaaq. Love Aaj Kal is considered as the hottest film of the year starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. The hottest new director was Ayan Mukherjeet for directing ‘Wake Up Sid’. The Exciting New Face of the year went to Jacqueline Fernandez for ‘Aladin’. As mentioned, best actress was Preity Zinta, best movie was Chintuji and the best director award was given to Ranjit Kapoor for the movie Chintuji.

Reader Choice Award: There were many awards given according to reader’s choice. According to them, Imtiaz Ali became the Dream Director for the movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’ while the movie ‘All The Best’ become Best film of the Year in the Comedy category. The Best Film of The Year in Drama category went to ‘3 Idiots’ and the best movie of the year in Action/Thriller went to ‘Wanted’. Amitabh Bachchan was the star of the Year Male for ‘Paa’ and Kareena Kapoor was the Star of the Year Female for ‘Kurbaan’ and ‘3 Idiots’. Abhishek Bachchan also grabbed an award in his pocket. He became the winner of the best supporting actor in Stardust Awards 2010 for ‘Paa’. The best supporting actress award was achieved by Kirron Kher for her role in the movie ‘Kurbaan.’ Best Actor in a Comic Role went to Ajay Devgan for movie ‘All The Best’. Best popular actor of the year award was gone to Akshay Kumar for the movie ‘Blue.’ and Best popular Actress award was bagged by Katrina Kaif for her movies ‘New York’ and ‘Ajab Prem ki Gazab Kahani.’ With this award Katrina also proved that she is not only a doll, but can act also in the movie.
